“I will praise you, Lord, for you have rescued me.”
Through this life-giving faith, God calls us to share the abundance of our gifts with those in need. God’s desire that we be made whole has been shown to us in so many ways. God shows us that we are made for eternal happiness: first by
creation and then by Jesus’ coming. In becoming human, He has taken on our likeness and given us His. God wills for all humans to be eternally happy. Our will must correspond to God’s will. To the extent that God gives us the means to make ourselves whole, we must accept all the graces God has prepared for us and offers to us. We ought to imitate as perfectly as possible Him who came into this world to teach us what we need to do to preserve in ourselves this beauty and divine resemblance
which He has so completely repaired and embellished in us! It is this divine resemblance that we ought to recognize and help to preserve in our neighbor who is also God’s child. Let us walk
then in the way of love as God’s most dear children.

BETHLEHEM CHRISTIAN FAMILIES will be here at all Masses this weekend, June 30th & July 1st. As in the past, they will be selling carved crucifixes, religious art work, and rosaries- all made of olive wood which is native to Israel and Bethlehem. The goal of this mission is to build a Charitable Hospital in Bethlehem and help the poor and needy families in Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Sale of these goods will help them very much and also give you the opportunity to have “something” authentic from the holy land.

This trip will include a visit to the Cathedral, a luncheon on the Victorian Princess, and attend a vigil Mass at St. Joseph Church with Fr. Larry Richard. The cost is $99 per person. made the St. Lawrence 100th Anniversary a wonderful success. First; thank you to the four priests who concelebrated the Mass: Fr. Ricky who gave us a glorious Mass: Fr. Edward Volz who delivered a beautiful homily: Fr. Alan Grote who wrote a most inspirational centennial prayer and to Fr. Doug Dorula, who made the celebration even though he had just returned from the Philippines. We would also like to thank Monsignor Larry Kulick and Fr. John Harrold who attended the luncheon. We extend our gratitude to organists, Michael Heilman and Sandy Reich, along with the Partner Parish Choir who sang such beautiful inspiring music. A special thanks to the St. Lawrence Altar Rosary Society who hosted the appetizers following Mass and displayed the memorabilia that was appreciated by all. Thanks to everyone who helped with the luncheon at Renshaw Farms and to everyone that came from near and far to celebrate 100 years in the life of St. Lawrence Church. And to the 100th Anniversary committee, Malinda Krchnak, Ceil Bartolovic, Mike Bordick, Terry Cook, Matt Fuller, Shari Fuller, Maryann Guegan, Sandy Herbst, Bethany Petras, and Paula Petras who executed a beautiful day, we are grateful.
