Plank Number One: God Possesses And Presides Over All The Wealth In This World And The Next. Check out Psalms 24:1, 1 Chronicles 29:11-12, and Romans 11:36. God has more wealth than Bill Gates. Plank Number Two: God Wants His Wealth In Circulation. There are not shortages in the world…just a terrible imbalance brought on by the sinfulness of man. Read Luke 6:38. God entrusts to us only much as we can be trusted to put into circulation. Plank Number Three: All Of God’s Wealth Legally Belongs To His Children. Paul tells us in Rom 8:32 that we have been given all things in Christ and then reminds us in 1 Corinthians 4 that as stewards we are accountable to God. Plank Number Four: The Way to Appropriate God’s Wealth Is To Give. That makes little sense until you read and believe Luke 6:38. When trusted and applied, that one verse can create miracles in your life. Plank Number Five: We Are To Give, Not According To Our Apparent Wealth, But According To God’s Actual Wealth. We are to give by revelation and not rationalization. Human calculation determines the amount to be given. Revelation giving lets God determine the amount we give. Plank Number Six: It Is Profitable To Give God’s Way. Remember 2 Corinthians 9:6? We reap what we sow. We must ask, “Whose profit do we seek? Gods? Or Ours?” Plank Number Seven: God Loves A Hilarious Giver. Cheerful in 2 Corinthians 9:7 is literally the word for hilarious. Are you a hilarious giver? Money is only one dimension of our giving. We have much more to give. We have time, talents, love, concern, respect, joy, esteem, thoughtfulness, physical commodities which can benefit others, and money. …Dr. E. First Baptist ChurchNEWSLETTER January 2018

Some years ago, I received a frantic call from one of my former staff members who had just been fired. He had reported on his Sunday School envelope an amount equal to his tithe, but he was not giving that amount. He reminded me of one of my words, “Giving is never financial; it is always spiritual.” In his book entitled, “God’s Miraculous Plan of Economy,” Jack Taylor says, and I agree, that there are seven planks in God’s platform of economy.

Human calculation determines the

amount to be given. Revelation giving lets God determine the amount we give.

Plank Number Six: It Is Profitable To Give God’s Way. Remember 2 Corinthians 9:6? We reap what we sow. We must ask, “Whose profit do we seek? Gods? Or Ours?”

Plank Number Seven: God Loves A Hilarious Giver.
