BOTTLE AND CAN REFUNDS
This could be a great way to earn the club extra funds.
I found this on the web when I saw the 10c sign on a stubby of beer and
looked it up
How to get involved From 1 December, schools, charities and community groups can fundraise through Return and
Earn, simply by collecting eligible containers and redeeming them at collection points for 10
cents each (collection points will be announced on this site soon).
Opportunities will continue to grow, and we’ll be able to offer further support, as Return and
Earn continues to roll out across NSW. Options will include collecting containers (and asking
community members to donate their containers to your organisation), becoming a collection
point, or having your charity listed on reverse vending machines (where the public can choose to
directly donate their refunds to you).
To find out how your organisation can participate and fundraise through Return and Earn, please
contact us at [email protected].

Robin’s Comment on the meeting. The scheme of meeting upstairs in the Boardroom for business, and then
moving downstairs for a social dinner worked well. Indeed the 11 members present were enjoying chatting
so that no-one left until about 8.20 pm !

A PIECE OF HISTORY
THE CLOCK IS STUCK AT 6.20. MAYBE IT WAS
TO GIVE A 10 MINUTE WARNING TO MEMBERS
SO THAT THEY COULD TAKE THEIR SEATS.
THE FOUR WAY TEST Of the things we think, say or do:
Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and better FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
