The meeting was called to order at 11:34 a.m. by Brandi Stuart, AGA President, at theWoolfolkBuilding,12thFloorConferenceRoom.Attendees OfficerspresentwereBrandiStuart,HollySavorgnan,SamuelCole,GiaAllen,CJKing,DonnaSebren,YolandaCampbell,KimMcCrory,TraceyGwin,BillyMorehead,andNitaCaylor.HollySmithphonedin.

SecretaryReportBrandi asked the CEC if there were any corrections to the last CEC minutes. There were nocorrections.Sammovedtoapprovetheminutes.Giaseconded.Themotionpassed.PresidentReportBrandinotifiedthegroupthatshewilltrytosendtheminutespriortothemeetingiftheyareavailableforeveryonetoreview.Shehandedoutasheetthatlistedthechapterexecutivecommitteemembersandaskedeveryonetoupdateanypersonal informationandnoteinformationthattheydonotwantpublishedinthenewsletterandwebsite.
Brandi gave a recap of the ProfessionalDevelopment Training inAnaheim, California in July. Therewere 5 members that attended: Billy Morehead, Gia Allen, Tawanna Carr, Brandi Stuart, and JeffWheeler.ThereisaregionalProfessionalDevelopmentTrainingtobeheldinTallahasseeonFebruary9th and 10th. The conference this year is allowing attendees to donate time and help with theconferencetohavetheregistrationfee forgiven.Therewillbe furtherdiscussiononthistopicat thenextCECmeeting.
BrandinotifiedeveryonethatanRSVPtoattendtheregularAGAmeetingsisnotneededformembersserving on theCEC. The only reason for notification is if youwill not be attending the regularAGAmeeting.TherewillneedtobeanRSVPfortheCECmeetings.
Sheproposedchangingthemeetingdates toTuesdayandpresenteda tentativescheduleofmeetingdates. The dates will be flexible. She inquired about new meeting places and some suggestionsmentionedweretheIronHorseGrill,Ból,andTrustmark.ShewillcommunicateviaemailwiththeCECmemberstodecideonthenextmeetinglocationandtime.
MembershipReportDonnareportedthatthereweretwonewmembersforAugust.TheyareLisaMoorewiththeSecretaryofStateandBrandiZuberwiththeMSOfficeoftheStateAuditor.
TreasurerReportNita distributed the financial report to theCEC for June and July. The June reportwaspreparedbyAleisha.ThebankrecordshavebeenupdatedwithBrandiandNita’snames.Nitafiledthetaxexempt

The projects are the sameprojectsasthepreviousyear.CGFMReportNoreport.BillyinquiredifAGAhasthenewCGFMbooks.CJrespondedsayinghethoughtthebookswereacoupleofyearsold.Brandimentionedasachapterweneedtomaintainonesetofcurrentstudyguides.ThegroupalsodiscussedgroupstudyoptionsforanyonewantingtobecomeaCGFM.
