Qualification Framework

“National Qualifications Framework”

An instrument for the classification of qualifications according to a set of criteria for

specified levels of learning achieved, which aims to integrate and coordinate national

qualifications subsystems and improve the transparency, access, progression and quality

of qualifications in relation to the labor market and civil society

1. Quality assurance policies and procedures should underpin all levels of the Qualifications Framework.

2. Quality assurance should be an integral part of the internal management of education and training institutions.

3. Quality assurance should include regular evaluation of institutions, their programs or their quality assurance systems by external monitoring bodies or agencies.
