Upcoming Events:
Countdown: Less than 2 Weeks away from our outdoor fall fly in. For a countdown clock check out our website. Jimmy has also posted a Schedule of events for the meet too. Our club meeting has been postphoned for one-week to allow us to greet the arriving guests and finalize any last minute plans for our meet. Please remember the field clean-
up day this Saturday at 9:00 AM. We still need to pull a few weeds and prep our field for our guests. We have had lost of rain just this week (2” +) so the grass is growing fast. ARC member Jimmy Fogleman has presented the club a very nice check from his former employer Texas Pacifico Railroad. This check was for $500. As you may recall, Angelo RC has received in-kind donations before from TXPF and this is very welcome. Thank you Texas Pacifico for supporting Angelo RC Club! Also Angelo RC Cub would like to welcome its’ newest member Rick Bock. Rick attended our recent meeting and joined the club. Please welcome Rick when you meet him. He likes to fly drones and fixed wing aircraft too. Please remember to attend our meeting on OCTOBER 12th at Golden Corral Restaurant at 7:00PM and come a little early if you want to eat. Till next month please remember to fly safely! Charlie Campbell Editor___________________ PLEASE

Here’s a neat site widget to keep around. In fact our webmaster Jimmy Gaona has put this on our webpage. This site displays the wind direction superimposed over our flying site as an arrow This is a neat tool that is available for most RC sites and a free site to belong to. If you want the actual weather conditions for our field you can still find our weather station under the Our Field tab on our site. (Click the above picture to take you to the site)

Angelo RC Field Day
Please help us maintenance our airfield prior to our Annual Outdoor Fly-In on Saturday, October 7th at 9am. We will be cutting the grass, pulling weeds and trimming trees, so bring your work gloves, rakes, weed eaters and chainsaws if you have them. Usually, it takes about one to two hours to complete the work depending on the number of volunteers, however, any time you can spare is appreciated. Hope to see you then! Contact Jimmy Gaona at 214-641-1143 if you have any questions.
