Experience is our Plus.

Experience teaches a valuable lesson. Improving through change.

The history of our company is linked closely to the development of modern animal nutrition and agriculture.

1932 By founding the “Deutsche Fischmehlfabrik” Heinz Lohmann laid the cornerstone for what would later become the Lohmann Group of Companies. In the same year, Paul Wesjohann also decided to establish a trade in hatchery eggs. A good thirty years later, the two poultry farming pioneers sealed their cooperation. This is the beginning of a success story that is based on true values and a spirit of invention. Lohmann embarks on an expansion course.

1967 Lohmann Tierernährung (LTE) was founded, followed by the setting up of an animal health section as well as entering into the market in additional important business segments. In 2014, Lohmann Animal Health (LAH) was acquired by Elanco/Ely Lilly. At the same time, Kaesler Nutrition spun off from the group of companies to focus on its competencies in animal nutrition.

Today Kaesler Nutrition combines the agility of a young company with the expertise and foresight of an experienced player. We diligently continue the decades-long tradition as pioneers in animal nutrition. Flavours

improve the sensory characteristics of the feed via active smell and flavour components in the directions of lac, fruit, spice, and sweet, promoting feed intake.

Amino acids

optimise feed rations in a targeted and environmen-tally-friendly manner. For better performance, higher efficiency and a reduced utilisation of soy.

Antioxidants

protect valuable nutrients in the feed from oxidative spoilage. Finely balanced ingredients ensure a syner-gistic effect and maintain the quality of the feed.

Carnitine

plays a key role in the energy metabolism. In times of increased demand, it ensu-res the energy supply and guarantees a relief of the liver at high performance.

Kaesler Nutrition is representative of the highest standard in quality. We develop, produce and distribute a large portfolio of proven effective feed additives and premixes that set benchmarks in their efficiency, safety and stability, supporting a holistic, sustainable nutrition. Our portfolio encompasses both classic additives such as vitamins and amino acids as well as specialities such as enzymes, antioxidants and flavours or drinking water applications for farms.

Needs become solutions: we constantly work on the further development of our products and services in order to be able to optimally support our customers in working out a tailor-made nutrition concept. Jointly, we create the highest quality, thus making a contribution towards strengthening the trust of the consumers in the meat-producing and meat-processing industry.

Carotenoids

provide a pleasant yellow and orange colouration to eggs, poultry and fish products, for the eye determines the eating behaviour in the first place.

Enzymes

release unused nutrients and thereby ensure a maximum utilisation of the feed. This protects resources and the environ-ment.

Premixes

are precision work and require a high degree of diligence and accuracy. Our knowledge regarding the individual components is decisive for the best mix that achieves the desired effect.

Drinking water appl.

are the ideal supplement in demanding situations. In case of insufficient feed intake or in phases of increased demand, nutri-ents can be supplemented quickly, easily and flexibly.

Vitamins

are an absolute necessity in modern animal nutrition. We provide high-quality vitamins from audited manufacturers who – thanks to our unique Quality & Trust control system – guarantee maximum safety from the production process all the way to delivery into the final product.

Technical Additives

are in demand not only in the area of feedstuffs. We sell an assortment of technological additives (e.g. enzymes for biogas plants) that are utilised in the most diverse of industries.

Food

requires the highest quality. Based on our profound knowledge, we have developed an assortment of high-quality additives for the food industry. With the objective of optimal nutrition, we offer our partners in the food indus-try effective antioxidants blends and a wide range of vitamins for nutritional enrichment.

The roots of our owner-operated company are located in Cuxhaven, in the North of Germany. Experienced employees from approx. 20 nations work at our headquarters and at the international subsidiaries. The diversity and the intercultural exchange are an enrichment to us – both professionally as well as on a personal level. Jointly, we achieve the highest Kaesler quality: each individual makes their contribution to this.

With the growing world population, the global demand for meat, eggs and milk – and also for feed additives – is increasing. In recent years, China has firmly established itself in the feed additives market and is currently by far the largest producer of vitamins worldwide.

In order to provide our customers with quality from China that complies with European standards, we have our own subsidiary on-site and – with Quality & Trust – have developed an exemplary quality assurance system that creates trust.

Our team of Chinese and German experts inspects the whole production chain, starting at supplier selection via the quality of the production sites, product control and logistics, all the way to delivery and arrival at our customers. The gapless inspection and traceability ensure the highest degree of safety. In parallel to this, a continuous risk analysis takes place in Germany that is based on our know-how as a manufacturer as well as on the input of international experts for quality assurance and analytics.

This way, we set a new quality standard that goes far beyond the legal requirements and at the same time allows for a fair pricing. Safety is created when new paths are embarked on.
