Lana Del Rey ▶ Elizabeth Woolridge Grant was born on June 21 on the year of 1985 in
the state of New York.
▶ She is known by her stage name Lana Del Rey.
▶ At the age of 15 she was sent to a boarding school to deal with her alcohol
abuse.▶ Began singing in church choirs.
▶ Before being a singer she wanted to be a poet.
Beginning of career
▶ In the early years she was known as Lizzy Grant and sang in small New York City clubs .
▶ Made an unreleased album called sirens under the name May Jailer.
▶ Recorded an EP called Kill Kill that was released in 2008.
▶ Most of the music videos were homemade and created by Lana.
