– Syngas process : tri-reforming using 20%CO2 included in gas field
– DME Process : application of efficient heat removal system of fixed bed reactor with shell & tube

Purpose
• Survey for satisfaction of customer using DME-LPG
• Check safety of LPG facilities using DME-LPG
• Legislation for using of DME-LPG as household and commercial use with this results
Executing institution : Korea Gas Safety Corporation(KGS)
• KGS is a public institution doing a safety check and analysis for facilities of City-gas,
LP-gas and High-pressure gas
• KGS did a survey for customer satisfaction and a safety check of facilities by visiting
all customers

The results for customer satisfaction measurement was 92.8%(very
satisfaction+satisfaction+normal)
• Normal : Same satisfaction with using LPG fuel
Problem caused by using DME-LPG in LPG facilities was not completely happened

Conclusion
Results of the model supply business of DME-LPG
The thermal efficiency of DME-LPG and LPG is almost similar
→ So, most customers don’t feel difference with LPG in use of DME-LPG
By research for mixing degree of DME-LPG in tank lorry,
→ DME and LPG are very well mixed in the tank lorry
The survey shows very high satisfaction of customers(about 93%) in use of DME-
LPG
Problem caused by using DME-LPG in LPG facilities was not completely
happened
Future Plan
Now, on establishing of DME-LPG’s law for household and commercial use
Prepare to construct commercial DME plant in oversea gas field
Research for applying DME in other field(transportation, industrial use and so on)
