Welcome to the 55th AIC Annual Conference!

As President of the AIC, I welcome you to the Association of Indiana Counties’ 55th Annual Conference in Switzerland County. This year’s host committee is made up of officials from Switzerland and Ohio Counties, and they have worked hard to welcome us and make the 2013 conference one of the best ever!

As always, this year’s conference will include many educational and professional networking opportunities. During the next four days you will

have several opportunities to attend many workshops, and to learn from the knowledgeable and engaging speakers who will help you gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing county government today.

As you take advantage of the learning opportunities, be sure to allow time for networking with your peers. Several events have also been planned to help you relax and unwind. The AIC has made it easy to network with company representatives and other county officials, who like you, are working tirelessly for the communities they serve.

As always, thank you for your support and participation. Your attendance will make this 55th Annual Conference a remarkable event, which I hope you’ll treasure for years to come! Be sure to mark your calendars for the fall of 2014 when the AIC holds its 56th Annual Conference in Monroe County. You’ll be in good hands as my successor, Morgan County Council Member Jeff Quyle, takes over as the AIC’s next President.
