- Gift of Life: A program that provides surgery to children with

congenital heart defects

- Polio Plus: A world-wide effort to eliminate polio through an

international vaccination program

- Pedal for Progress: Giving used bicycles to those in need

- Fair Lawn volunteers traveled to help those

affected by the 1993 Midwestern floods

- On-going efforts to collect funds, medical

equipment, vaccines and emergency shelters to be

deployed around the world in response to

emergency situations

- Rotary works around the world to bring clean water

and proper sanitation to those in need

- Literacy programs have been established world-wide, Rotarians have

sponsored schools across the globe. Locally THE ROTARY CLUB OF FAIR LAWN

provides dictionaries to all third-graders in Fair Lawn Schools and provides

supplies to those children that cannot afford

to purchase them on their own
