New Faces at Warehouse RowWarehouse Row welcomes new tenants, DREWLEWIS and Rhinoceros

DREWLEWIS owners Seth Kloss and David Gore traveled the world together, working in fashion in Japan, Sydney and NYC before deciding to open their first boutique in Atlanta. A year later, the duo is already expanding with a new Chattanooga store, opening this October at Warehouse Row. “We were attracted to Chattanooga for a number of reasons,” said Kloss. “David is a Chattanooga native, there are a lot of growth opportunities in the city, and the redesign of Warehouse Row fits the design aesthetic of our stores.”

At DREWLEWIS, clients will discover hard-to-find men’s and women’s pieces from designers like Billy Reid, Caulfied Prep, Cooper by Courtney, McQ and more. Kloss says, “we want to give clients access to unique pieces

that are hard to find in the south.” DREWLEWIS tends to stock small quantities of individual items, and by offering complimentary beverages and encouraging clients to take all the time they need, DREWLEWIS delivers a cutting-edge shopping experience.

Nathalie Welch, creator of Rhinoceros boutique, is a native of France, born and

raised in Paris. Welch relocated to the U.S. when she was 18, bringing her European style and sensibilities with her. Welch opened her first shop in the trendy Buckhead neighbor-hood of Atlanta. This September, Chattanooga favorite Public House will

up the ante with an adjacent bar experience, The Social. Designed by Tracery Interiors from Rose-mary Beach, FL. In addition to comfy custom-made booths, the space will feature seating for 16 at the bar and a gathering area for parties of up to 12.

The food menu is an expan-sion of the snack and small plate offerings at Public House, re-working classic bar snacks using local produce and ingredi-ents. The drink menu will sport creative and classic cocktails, premium bourbons and whis-keys and liqueurs.

Snap Kids Introduces Kayce HughesThis fall at Snap Kids, find children’s apparel, gift and layette, a flower girl collection and an ever expanding women’s line of clothing and accessories all by designer Kayce Hughes

When Kayce Reagan Hughes finished college, she em-

ployed her artistic talents working for Ralph Lauren in the Women’s Design department. She gave that up six years later after the birth of her first child, son Reagan. Four years and four children later, Hughes began turning vintage fabrics into nightshirts for her daughters. “They were so cute that I had a seamstress make some dresses and shorts for me as well”, she says. Marketing them under the labels Pears and Bears, Hughes took her tot-size garments around to a handful of stores who snatched them up. What began with a simple nightshirt has now expanded to an over 200 piece col-lection.

The Fall of 2007 met Kayce with

new challenges and new inspira-tion. Mom to now seven children, Kayce had outgrown her home office and garage storage space. With more and more orders to fill, it was time to make the leap into corporate office and warehouse space.

Kayce’s talents have been recog-nized by magazines such as Vogue, Domino, Martha Stewart Wed-dings, Child and Fit Pregnancy. With the expansion of her women’s collection and long range plans for a home and possible men’s collec-tion, there’s a lot to look forward to from Kayce Hughes.

Credit for conceptualizing and executing the space’s interior design goes to the team at REVIVAL STUDIO. Using a simple palette of all white materials and mirrors for light and movement, the design team cre-ated a neutral backdrop that gives a stunning sense of glamour and el-egance to the Lindsay St boutique.
