IntroductionLe 5 mars 2020, la Commission des services financiers et desservices aux consommateurs (la « Commission ») a approuvéla publication dans le but de recueillir des commentaires sur lesmodifications proposées. Les modifications proposées ont étépubliées dans le site web de la Commission le 4 juin 2020.

Objet des modifications proposées Les modifications proposées introduiront des règles detransparence de l’information auprès les opérations sur les titresde créance publics et étendraient la portée de celles applicablesaux titres de créance privés.

En outre, les modifications proposées exigeront que lesbanques, courtiers, marchés et intermédiaires entre courtiers surobligations fournissent de l’information relative aux opérationssur titres de créances publics à une agence de traitement del’information, laquelle sera chargée de la diffusion desrenseignements relatifs à ces opérations.

IntroductionOn 5 March 2020, the Financial and Consumer ServicesCommission (“Commission”) approved publication in order toobtain comments on the proposed amendments. The ProposedAmendments were published on the Commission website on 4June 2020.

Substance and Purpose of Proposed Amendments The Proposed Amendments aim to introduce mandatory post-trade transparency requirements for government debt securitiesand expand transparency requirements for corporate debtsecurities

In addition, the Proposed Amendments will require banks,dealers, marketplaces and interdealer bond brokers to provideinformation regarding trades in government debt securities toan information processor, which would in turn publiclydisseminate details of those trades.
