“Church Basement Ladies” Fundraiser.
A special “Thank You” to all who were part of this fundraiser. Not only did we have a great time and enjoy the fellowship with one another, but we raised approximately $280. for the parish. In addi-tion our parish won the raffle for the chest freezer. This was the third year we have had a ”St. John’s night out at Lakeland Theatre” fundraiser. As soon as next years show schedule comes out, planning will start for another great evening. This years attendance was in excess of 70, so next year, lets surpass that number.
PET BLESSING
On Sunday, October 8th @ 4 P.M. there will be a
blessing of the pets by Deacon Jim on the
grounds behind the parish hall. All pets are wel-
come as long as they know how to play well with
others.
