Music RecordingMark your calendars for

March 31, 2019. Plan to join us at the Edmond church

of Christ as we record new music for the program.

The United States is the third largest mission field in the world, following China and India. We must in each generation set our hearts to take the gospel message as far and wide as we possibly can. If we preach the truth of the gospel with love, we can still pierce hearts and win souls to Christ.

The great commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16) gives us our marching orders. We must continue in every generation to make disciples, baptize, and continue teaching the disciples all that Jesus taught. Our gospel message will endure forever (1 Peter 1:23-25). For this reason, we must think of our own generation and the generations to come.

We have the greatest God with the greatest message of the greatest salvation and the greatest love for the greatest number of people. Our message gives hope and peace, which causes us to rejoice with joy unspeakable. Our message gives truth and life, which causes men to make positive changes to their lives.

Will you be a soul-winner for Jesus during 2019? Will you consider the lost souls who desperately need the grace of God? Many of these souls are your neighbors and friends. Do not let another year pass and not speak a kind word about Jesus to them.

One way you can help them find the truth is to encourage them to watch In SEARCH of the Lord’s Way. No matter where they live, they can likely find a way to watch this program. They can see it on television, on GBN, see it on our website or YouTube, or perhaps catch it on a radio program. Even if they will not have a personal Bible study with you, they may be willing to watch SEARCH. Invite, ask, urge, and encourage them! Your request could open a door to eternal life!

May the Lord be with you, Phil Sanders

A Soul-Winner for Jesus

Coming into your homes and lives is a special pleasure for all of us at In Search of the Lord’s Way. We are deeply grateful you include us in your weekly plans. Some watch in preparation for their worship at church, while others confined to home watch as a source of spiritual edification. Whatever the reason, we rejoice you are watching SEARCH.

We are planning for our 23rd music recording on March 31 at 4 pm at the Edmond Church of Christ. It will take three hours to make the recordings. We invite you to come and participate. We would love to have you present and to have our largest crowd ever!

Our worship in song attracts many people to watch SEARCH. People who have never attended the church of Christ love to hear our a cappella singing. Songs from the heart lifted up to God bless those who sing and those who listen. Many people tell me they sing as they watch the program. People love to get CDs from each recording. You can download songs anytime from our website, www.searchtv.org.

I hope to see many at our SEARCH luncheon at Freed-Hardeman University, on Wednesday noon at the Henderson church building.

Please keep SEARCH in your prayers, and think about sponsoring a day, meeting our expenses of $9,000 per day. May the Lord bless you.

The staff of IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY thanks each and every reader of this newsletter for the support and love you show us each month! The SEARCH ministry continues to be on the air in every television market in the United States including Hawaii and Alaska. The outreach of this ministry is beyond the dreams of its founder Mack Lyon. SEARCH reaches into foreign countries around the globe via radio and internet to people who love to hear the Word of God proclaimed each Sunday.

This month some of the SEARCH staff will be present at the Sunset School of Preaching Lectureship. This will be the first time the SEARCH booth has been to this Lubbock, TX event. We are looking forward to visiting with people and telling them about SEARCH. Early next month we will be once again at the Freed-Hardeman University Lectureship or as we like to call it, the family reunion in Henderson, Tennessee.

As most of you know, SEARCH has several monthly contributors. Some people/churches mail checks, some use auto bank drafts and others use credit cards. Did you know SEARCH accepts credit card donations? SEARCH is able to monthly auto draft credit cards much the same way the monthly bank drafts work. If you would like to use your credit card each month to give to this ministry, simply call 1-800-321-8633 and we will set it up for you, the amount and number of months is completely up to you! Thanks again for your prayerful support of IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY!

Please tell others about IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY, as stated earlier in this article. The program is available all across the nation on television and on more than sixty radio stations throughout the US and other nations. Tell your family to watch and view it often on YouTube or the Internet. And, by all means have the local SEARCH schedule announced at church services and added to the bulletin weekly!

Topics subject to change without notice

MAR 3 – IN GODFaith in God is not a guess, an opinion, or a leap in the

dark! We have sound reasons to believe He exists and that He made the world in which we live. Faith in God is not merely an intellectual matter, but one that we live for Him.

MAR 10 – IN CHRISTOur calendars date from the birth of Christ, and histo-

rians regard Him as the most influential person who ever lived. Was Christ merely a man or a prophet, or was He more than that? We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God!

MAR 17 – THE BIBLESome consider the Bible an ancient document for an-

cient times with good thoughts, but they say it has errors and contradictions. Can we trust the Bible and does it have an authoritative message for us today?

MAR 24 – IN THE CHURCHMany people have rejected participating in the church

by looking at its human faults, but is the church more than a human organization? We believe the church, as God intended, is a great blessing and necessary for our spiritual lives.

MAR 31 – IN MORALITYIn our postmodern world, many think morality is self-

determined, that we can decide right and wrong for our-selves. Though our world despises judgmental attitudes, Christ still insists He will judge us on the last day.

Recording New Music

We frequently receive letters and emails telling us how much they love the singing on our program. Sunday evening March 31st we will be recording 25 to 30 new songs at the Edmond Church of Christ. You and your friends are invited to come and help us fill the auditorium with songs of praise. Seating begins around 4:00 pm, so come early to find your seat and help us spread the gospel by song around the world.

SUN CITY, AZ “Keep up the good work. I really enjoy the program.”

TAHLEQUAH, OK “Enclosed is a check given as a contribution to the Search ministry. We appreciate your program and Brother Phil’s scriptural based sermons. Keep up the good work.”

CRESTWOOD, KY “It’s an inspiration knowing your voice is being heard thru the Search ministry program, thus winning many souls to Christ. We are richly blessed that you have chosen to deliver the gospel message. Bless you and the Search staff for making this happen. I’m enclosing my gift to the Search ministry program for continued inspiration. If available, I would like to have your latest booklet ‘Give Me the Bible’. A faithful viewer of Search.”

BROOMFIELD, CO “I just want to tell you how proud I am when Phil says every week ‘We will never ask for money’. Boy, you don’t hear that from any other TV program. Mom and I love hearing your message every week. Keeps us going. God continue to Bless you in your good messages and also Bless the Listener; and the whole world return to Jesus!!”

NACOGDOCHES, TX “Brother Sanders, I am so happy that while turning the channels on my TV, I ran upon you. Since then I have listened to you, I have met you up in Central Texas, I am just blessed beyond words. Not to mention that I have taken all the Bible Courses that you give. Leading me to get baptized again, this time it was the right one. I am happy the Lord is blessing me to be able to help support the truth so that people may be saved. I am so happy that you are one of God’s chosen ones to carry His Word. I am selfish. I get the tract’s you write, but I always want more. I read a lot, just love reading God’s Word and telling others about it when they will listen. I want to get closer to my Savior. Please pray for me.”

FRANKLIN, TN “I am sending a check to help support this much needed program. The Word is taught with love and kindness, but without compromise. Hope more and more will hear these messages in the new year to come. Thanks and best wishes to all at In Search.”

HARDY, AR “I listen to your program and enjoy it very much. Me and my sister have done Bible Correspondence Courses for a long time. We enjoy doing them and also we learn a lot doing them. It keeps us reading. I catch myself not wanting to quit when it is time to cook or get back to work. Sometimes, I still have the Bible in my hand while cooking.”

HOWARDWICK, TX “We received the music CDs this morning and are listening to them already. Mom has a lovely smile as she listens so I know they are bringing her joy. God bless you and the entire Search team.”
