The church doors will open 30 minutes before each scheduled Mass for everyone’s protection. It is

recommended that we not be in confined spaces with other people for long periods of time in order to diminish the possibility of contamination. For this

reason, the Mass is only 30-35 minutes long with few hymns (on Sunday) and without singing by the congregation. Since the virus can be transmitted

through the air, the more we speak or sing, the greater the risk of contamination. We must keep our masks on at all times, covering both our mouths and

noses. We will not be using the fans in the church at this time, since the virus can be spread further with circulating air.

minutos antes de cada Misa para la protección de todos. Se recomienda de que no estemos dentro un edificio por mucho tiempo para disminuir la posibili-

dad de contaminación. Es por esta razón que las Misas son de 30-35 minutos y con pocos cantos

(domingos) sin que canto por el pueblo. El riesgo de posible contaminación incrementa cuando hablamos o

cantamos por el hecho de que el virus se desparra-

ma por el aire. Es necesario que

nuestras bocas y narices siempre

estén tapadas.

Estamos dispensados durante este tiempo de la obligación de asistir a Misa los Domingos. La obligación de guardar el Domingo como día de descanso y oración permanece. No se nos permite trabajar en domingo. Es importante guardar la solemnidad de Domingo durante este tiempo, sobre todo con todos los cambios que se están haciendo por la situación actual. ¡Demos le al Señor su día, como El no manda! We are dispensed at this time from the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday. However, we are not dispensed from keeping Sunday as a Day of Rest. Sundays should still be a day of prayer, recollection, and avoiding unnecessary work. It is important to keep Sunday as a day of rest, even when we are not able to attend Mass, especially given the many changes that we are currently experiencing. Let us give to the Lord, His day, a day of rest!

The Mass intentions previously requested will be offered on

the day that your requested, as much as possible.

All of the Mass intentions that were solicited prior to the suspension of public Mass have been offered in the private Masses celebrated by Fr. Garcia. We will not be accepting Mass intentions at this time, and will resume as soon as we have a normal Mass schedule.

The Santuario is Open The Santuario is open for private prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle Monday-Friday, 11:00am– 4:00pm. Please take the necessary precautions for every-one’s safety. Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet and lim-it what you touch. Wash your hands before you go into the church and when you leave.
