Catechism Catecismo Registration for catechism classes including First Communion and Confirmation is open until June 30. It will be required that families are registered and active in the parish in order to register for classes. Registración para el Catecismo incluyendo reparación para Primera Comunión y Confirmación para el próximo año escolar esta abierto. El ultimo día para inscripciones será el 30 Junio. Sera necesario que las familias estén inscritas y activas en la parroquia para inscribirse en las clases.

12:00pm Mass at the Missions The 12:00pm Sunday Mass has returned to the Missions of Our Lady of Sorrows at Rio en Medio and San Isidro in Tesuque alternating Sundays at 12:00pm (June 13 at Tesuque). It is expected that the parishioners at the missions attend Mass every Sunday at one of the Masses in our parish when Mass is not being offered at their particular mission. Please note that low Mass attendance at the missions and no attendance at other parish Masses may result in returning the 12:00pm Mass to the main church in order to accommodate the overflow of people at the other Masses.

Holy Communion on the Tongue If you prefer to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, you may kneel or stand at the base of the altar after the clergy have processed into the sacristy. One of the clergy will distribute Holy Communion on the tongue at that time.

Comunión en la Lengua Si prefieren recibir la Comunión en la lengua, se pueden acercar al altar terminando la procesión de salida, hincándose o poniéndose de pie a la base del altar. El clero saldrá para darles la Comunión en la lengua.

Mascaras El uso de mascaras en nuestra parroquia será de acuerdo con el orden de salud actual. No se le preguntara a nadie sobre su decisión personal de recibir la vacuna o sus razones por lo cual usan o no usan una mascara. Se requiere que la decisión personal de

cada persona sea respetada por todos. Santa Comunión La Santa Comunión se recibe en la mano (por orden del Arzobispo). Consuman la hostia de inmediato. Si gustan, pueden bajar o quitarse su mascara antes de que reciban la Comunión en la mano. Si no van a recibir la Comunión, crucen los brazos sobre el pecho como señal de que no van a recibir la Comunión. La Comunión se les lleva por los ministros a los feligreses en las bancas. Un ministro estará velando que todos reciban la Comunión de inmediato. Comunión en la Lengua Si prefieren recibir la Comunión en la lengua, se pueden acercar al altar cuando termina la Misa, hincándose o poniéndose de pie a la base del altar. El clero saldrá para darles la Comunión en la lengua. Capacidad La capacidad máxima en nuestra iglesia es de 75%, según las directivas del Arzobispo siguiendo el nivel del orden de salud del estado por condado en el cual estamos ahorita. Esto aunque la Corte Suprema ha decidido que las iglesias tienen el derecho de abrir al 100% de capacidad. Para noso-tros, la capacidad será de 200 – 240 personas, dependiendo en como acomodamos a los feligreses en las bancas. Intentaremos acomodar los feligreses desde que llegan a la iglesia, dejando espacio de aproximadamente 4 pies y acomodando a una o dos personas en medio de las bancas cuando es posible. Por favor sigan las indicaciones de los mi-nistros y estén conscientes que no podrán sentarse donde están Acostumbrados para poder acomodar mas personas. Desinfección Seguimos desinfectando las bancas, pero solo las partes que se tocan con las manos por los feligreses; la banca en frente y las orillas de las bancas. Desinfectamos también las manijas (chapas) de las puertas, los grifos en los baños, etc. Se les pide a los feligreses ayudar desinfectar después de las Misas. Dejen el reclinatorio sobre el piso para nosotros saber dónde desinfectar después de todas las Misas. Distancionamento Desinfecten sus manos al entrar y salir de la iglesia. Ventilacion Las puertas de la iglesia se dejan abiertas para ventilación.

Masks Mask use in our parish is to be in accord with the current health order. No one will be questioned regarding their personal choice to receive the vaccine or their reason(s) for wearing or not wearing a mask. Holy Communion Holy Communion is to be received in the hand by order of the Archbishop. The ministers will continue to go to you in the pews. If you will not be receiving Communion, cross your arms over your chest as a sign to the ministers that you will not be receiving. Other ministers will watch to make sure that the host is immediately consumed. Consume the Host immediately and do not wait for anyone else to receive. If you are wearing a mask, you may lower or take off your mask before you receive the host on your hand. Holy Communion on the Tongue If you prefer to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, you may kneel or stand at the base of the altar after the clergy have processed into the sacristy. One of the clergy will distribute Holy Communion on the tongue at that time. Capacity The maximum capacity in our church is 75% in conformity to the directive of the Archbishop, following the level of the current health order according to county. This is the case, even as the Supreme Court has ordered that all churches must be al-lowed to open at 100% capacity. The actual capacity in our church while allowing for safe physical distancing is 200-240 persons depending how parishioners are seated. We will try to accommodate as many people as possible and ushers may seat you in order to allow for the maximum safe seating. Please sit on the end near the walls and in the middle of the pew, allowing for more people to be seated at each pew when possible. Please follow the instructions of the ushers. Disinfecting We continue to disinfect the pews and all areas touched after each Mass. Parishioners are encouraged to remain to help with disinfecting. (weekend Masses). All of the supplies are found on a cart. Leave your kneeler down to the floor at the conclusion of Mass as a sign to the volunteers that that area needs to be disinfected. Distancing Do not congregate near the doors (inside and outside) so as to allow safe distancing for everyone. Always leave a safe 4 feet distance between you and other people. You may remain in the pews at the conclusion of the Closing Hymn to make a prayer of thanksgiving for Holy Communion and to allow time for others to exit and maintain safe distancing. Ventilation The doors of the church are left open during Mass for ventilation.

Natural Family Planning Natural Family Planning is the Church’s gift to all married couples, helping them cooperate with God’s act of creation in natural family planning. This is the Church’s method of planning a family without artificial contraception in a safe and faithful manner. We now have a practitioner in our parish available to give couples an introductory session and to train couples in a method of natural family planning. Call Sara at 505-670-2527.

Arriving Late to Mass If you arrive late for Mass, please allow the ushers to take you to an open pew and only after the Readings, with respect to the Word of God and to the parishioners so as to not distract them as they listen to the Word of God.
