This bond is one of a series of I- if- ty (50) bonds of the denomination of $1,000, each, and numbered from one ( 1 ) to fifty (50) inclusive, issued by the First Sub-Road District of the Sec ond Police Jury Ward of the Parish of St. Landry, State of Louisiana, as representing an indebteness incurred and to be incurred for the exclusive purpose of contracting for, acquir- ing, laying out and constructing a sytem of modern public roads within the limits of said Sub-Road District, the title to which shall vest in the Parish and public, and issued in ac- cordance with the provisions of Art- icle 281 of the Consitution of the State of Louisiana, adopted in 1898 and 1913, and Act No. 256 of the General Assembly of the State of Louisiana for the year 1910, and laws amendatory thereof, after an election on the 18th. day of March 1919, and on the question of such issue by the property taxpayers of said Sub-Road District, held, canvassed and the re- sults declared and promulgated and registered, all according to law auth- orizing such issue; of which election there was no contest and can none now lawfully be made. This bond is one of a series of I- if- ty (50) bonds o f the denomination of $1,000, each, and numbered from one ( 1) to fifty (50) inclusive, issued by the F irst Sub-Road District o f the Sec ond Police Ju ry W ard o f the Parish of

St. Landry, State of Louisiana, as representing an indebteness incurred and to be incurred fo r the exclusive purpose of contracting for, acquir­ing, laying out and constructing a sytem of modern public roads within the limits of said Sub-Road District, the title to which shall vest in the Parish and public, and issued in ac­cordance with the provisions of A rt­icle 281 of the Consitution of the S tate of Louisiana, adopted in 1898 and 1913, and Act No. 256 of the General Assembly of the S tate of Louisiana fo r the year 1910, and laws am endatory thereof, a fte r an election on the 18th. day of March 1919, and on the question of such issue by the property taxpayers of said Sub-Road District, held, canvassed and the re ­sults declared and promulgated and registered, all according to law auth­orizing such issue; of which election there was no contest and can none now lawfully be made.
