LBS owes its roots to its humble beginnings. It
started with a simple vision from the founder, Dato'
Seri Lim Bock Seng, Chairman - “To be a leading
developer without forgetting to give back to the
community from which we come from, we need to
be people focused.” He has inculcated this value
and Tan Sri Lim Hock San has taken this vision and
evolved it in various ways.

took over the baton from his father, helmed the company into

In its effort to enhance communities, the LBS Foundation was
founded to spearheads all Corporate Social Responsibilities causes.
LBS Foundation aspires to create and empower society through
improving the well-being of the community. This is done through
promoting a sustainable development in four key areas: education,

Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah (YASA)
Hemodialysis Center
Concerned about the plight of the poor who are in need of
hemodialysis treatment, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan
Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has set up a
hemodialysis centre in Cheras to lessen their financial burden.
LBS Foundation, seeking to improve the health and well-being of the
needy segments of the society, contributed RM100,000 towards the
successful launch of the center to make healthcare accessible to
those who are in need.

Pink Ribbon: Breast Cancer Awareness Talk
In conjunction of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October,
LBS Foundation conducted numerous activities involving LBS staffs
and media to increase attention and support for the awareness on
the most common cancer in women worldwide.
Aside from distributing & donning Pink Ribbon as a show of
support, LBS Foundation also hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness
Talk, chaired by Dr. Fairuz A’shikin Abdul Kadir, Consultant
Obstetrician & Gynaecologist from Avisena Specialist Hospital.

Pusat Tuisyen Ajar-Ajar Malaysia
Given the life-changing power of education, LBS Foundation, Ajar-
Ajar Malaysia and TAR UC signed a Memorandum of Understanding
to work together in providing education assistance to
underprivileged children at Wangsa Maju area.
As a result, Pusat Tuisyen Ajar-Ajar Malaysia is established as a
conducive learning platform for underprivileged children.
Pusat Tuisyen Ajar-Ajar Malaysia conducts free tuitions to the
children using mentoring approach that promotes two-way learning
opportunities for children and their teachers or mentors.

Project REAL
Believing that education is for all, LBS Foundation also collaborated
with Rotary Club Kota Kinabalu in a project called Project REAL
(Rural-Focus, English For All) for rural students in Sabah.
This initiative aims to help rural schools at Sipitang District to
develop a special corner and room complete with projector, laptops
and 700 English books to help students in improving their English
proficiency.

Recycle Project
As a leading property developer, it is LBS’ goal to conserve and
preserve resources for future generation. Leading by example, LBS
organised a Recycle Project by encouraging all LBS staffs to fight
waste and start recycle.
This project aimed to educate all the staffs the importance of caring
for the environment and empowering them to be part of the solution
to the waste problem by instilling in them the Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle, Rethink and Reinvent (5R) philosophy. Not only that, LBS
committed a pledge for every 10kg recyclable items that have been
collected, a tree will be planted.
Receiving massive support, this project collected a total of 36,117 kg
of recyclables, which resulted in a total of 3,612 of trees to be
planted in year 2020.

As LBS believes that two-way communication is essential to a successful
management and in being a responsible developer, LBS constantly listens to
its customers; appreciating their input and looking forward to grow with
our customers. This practice is also extended to feedback from real estate
agents, sales agents and from social media platforms; where every
feedback is hearken to ensure that as a company, steps are taken toward
greater progress.

LBS has invested and implemented a CRM system to
ensure a 4-hour response for our purchasers to ensure
that we are always within reach for any form of
assistance. Purchasers can provide their feedbacks
from before and after sales via traditional mediums
like phone, mail, email or even website and social
media sites – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to LBS
customer service. This is the standard procedure for
LBS customer service to ensure the we are the
integral part of purchaser’s buying process and
meeting their needs.

LBS believes that e-newsletter can be one of
the initiatives for potential customers to get to
know, like and trust our company. We

Apart from bonding and building relationships, LBS also believes in
ensuring that all staff is clear on the vision of the company and its
yearly objectives. LBS organizes bi-annual Town Hall Meeting
where staff are encouraged to attend, where they are briefed of the
company’s direction for the year. At the same time, this is the
venue where staff are welcomed to share their thoughts and
suggestions with the management.

Activities
The formation of LBS Club is to provide a platform for all the staff
in LBS Group to bond and actively participate in the team
building activities and Corporate Social Responsibilities
(CSR) events. Through LBS Club, there are various of co-curricular
activities organised to foster friendship and mutual understanding
among all employees and to achieve better work/life balance.

birthdays celebration, contest, fun game and other activities
are organized constantly throughout the year

Activities
To promote work and life balance, LBS has arranged Fitness
and Wellness Day – Zumba, Muay Thai class and Marathon for the
employees to exercise after office hour. In addition, the company also
provide suitable facilities for the employees to embrace a
healthier lifestyle, such Badminton and Basketball courts.
For the employees who actively join in Fitness and Wellness Day,
they can earn points that could redeemed for gifts as part of the year-
long ‘Earn & Redeem’ campaign.
On the social level, LBS also hosted activities such as Movie Day to
promote bonding among the employees.
