In the golden autumn and September, The flowers fragrant, The 2019 Yangtze

River Delta Open of International classic cars and International Elegance Pageant of

China（Abbreviation: YRD-CLASSIC）, which blend luxury and fashion, gather passion

and glory, are blooming in the Yangtze River Delta. This is the first time this

world-class event come to the Yangtze River Delta.

The event was officially approved by FIVA and included in the 2019 FIVA official

calendar. It is not only the first and only high-end event for classic cars officially

registered in FIVA in the Yangtze River Delta region in 2019. It is also a veritable

global classic car event. Sixty classic cars from 19 countries on five continents

participated in the event. This is the largest and highest-level comprehensive

automobile cultural event in Chinese history. After the event, it won two awards:

"Fashion Event" and "Million Citizen's Favorite City Event" issued by the Shanghai

Municipal Government.

As one of the new business cards of the Yangtze River Delta's top auto cultural rally

and comprehensive event brands, this event was officially approved by FIVA. The

event was jointly sponsored by Xinhua News Agency, China Association of

Automobile Manufacturers(CAAM), and Shanghai Municipal Government. The event

was co-hosted by CVUC, Xinhua Net , Universal AutoHarbor (Beijing) Cultural

Industry Co., Ltd.Shanghai Haiguo Culture (Group) Co., Ltd., China Association of

Automobile Manufacturers Manufacturers Exhibition Cultural Association, Shanghai

Culture and Tourism Bureau provided support and guidance for the event. The event

is included in the official activities of the Shanghai Tourism Festival and is one of the

30 major activities of the Shanghai Tourism Festival.

The theme of this event was "Discover the Future Connected World", which

gathered 60 classic cars from 19 countries on five continents, including Bugatti,

Invicta S-Type, Amilcar C6, BNC, Hotchkiss, AUSTIN SEVEN, Alvis FWD, Lotus, Bristol,

Bentley, Lagonda , Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Chrysler, MG, Mercedes Benz, Porsche

Porsche, Jaguar, Skoda, Alfa Romeo , Maserati Maserati and other

world-renowned car brands of old-fashioned cars, the average age of 68 years old,

the oldest car is more than 107 years.

From September 10th to 13th, classic cars from all over the world successfully

arrived in Shanghai Port and entered the warehouse, starting to organize and

prepare the vehicles.

On September 14th, the organizing committee entered the Shanghai Ship Hotel, and

the preparatory work before the event started in full swing.

On September 17,The drivers from all over the world successively arrived at

Shanghai Fengxian Ship Hotel, and the event kicked off officially.

On September 18, the vehicle inspection and participant formalities began, and the

Shanghai Municipal Government and vehicle management-related units conducted

technical inspections on the participating vehicles and went through the relevant

approval procedures.

On September 19, the organizing committee organized all participants to conduct

pre-match training. And conduct administrative and technical inspections of

participating vehicles.

In order to prevent drivers from getting lost and strengthen the control of the entire

fleet, the organizing committee has developed a vehicle control system to monitor

the operation of the vehicle throughout the process, promptly guide working

vehicles and personnel to guide and rescue the lost or anchored vehicles, and At the

same time, the system can also deviate from the road book,speeding up, violating

Chinese laws and regulations, etc. are promptly discovered and evidence is fixed, so

as to remind and warn the driver at any time, and punish after the end of the day.

On the evening of the 19th, the organizing committee organized a grand official

welcome dinner, with more than 300 event participants, media, and special guests

participating. The scene had a strong Chinese cultural atmosphere and the event

atmosphere was very warm. It was hailed by overseas participants as "Dream China

Night" ", "Oriental Cultural Movies".

At 8:30 am on September 20, the event held a grand launch ceremony at Shanghai

Fengxian Future Art Center, Shanghai Mayor Zong Ming, Deputy Secretary General of

CAAM Yao Jie, Secretary of Fengxian District Zhuang Mudi, CVUC President Zong

Gui'an, Xinhuanet General manager Gu Mei and other leaders attended the

ceremony. More than 50,000 people spontaneously came to the scene to witness.

After driving 148 kilometers, the team arrived at Wuxi, the first stop of the event, in

the afternoon. After the car collection ceremony in Wuxi, the organizing committee

organized a special reception for "Eastern Courtesy and China Wine"

On September 21, the convoy departed from the ancient town of Dangkou, Wuxi,

Jiangsu, to the next stop, Dongtai, Jiangsu. A grand vehicle collection and departure

ceremony was held in the Yellow Sea Forest Park, during which the convoy went to

the Tiaozini Scenic Area for sihtseeing.

On September 22, the convoy departed from Dongtai to Changzhou and held a car

collection ceremony at Wuyue Plaza. During the stay in Changzhou, the organizing

committee also organized exhibition and display activities.

On September 23, the team traveled from Changzhou to Ningguo, which was the

fourth leg of the event. The organizing committee arranged a day off in Ningguo. On

September 24th, the organizing committee organized a grand city tour in Ningguo,

and organized all participants to visit Qinglong Lake. On September 25th at 10:00, a

grand Departure ceremony was organized in ningguo.

On September 25, the convoy departed from Ningguo Binhe Park to Anji. The

atmosphere at the departure site was very warm, and more than 100,000 people

arrived at the scene. The team visited the She Nationality Customs Garden in

Yunti-Qianqiu Village, to watch the She Cultural Exhibition; and arrived at Anji

HKCTS Hotel in the afternoon.

On September 26, the event held a grand city cruise and departure ceremony in Anji.

The convoy went on to Fengxian, Shanghai, and organized a grand closing ceremony.

General Manager Gu Mei of Xinhuanet, Chang Qing, Deputy General Manager, Jin

Yongjun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Haiguo Culture, General Manager

Weng Chunyuan, Deputy General Manager Chen Wei, and CVUC President Zong

Gui'an attended the closing ceremony. Relevant leaders awarded awards to the

winners. In the end, the No. 51 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Classic Car driven by the

famous Dutch entrepreneur Tony won the championship.

From September 27th to 29th, the organizing committee organized the

"International Elegance Pageant of China" in Fengxian, and all 60 classic cars

participated. During the event, there are many activities including "Phantom of the

Car Dancing • When the classic Cars Meets the Beauty of the East", the

"International classsic Cars Exhibition", "Shanghai Impression • Shanghai Automobile

Industry Retrospective Exhibition" and "International classic cars Elegant

Competition" During the same period, it was successfully completed.

On the evening of September 28, the organizing committee organized a grand

farewell party, which arranged for all participants to take a cruise on the Huangpu

River. The party was very rich in content, including talking about participation

feelings, sweepstakes, singing and dancing performances, etc. The atmosphere was

very lively. All the participants spent an unforgettable night, and the party ended in

the saxophone solo "Go Home".

On September 29, the 10-day "Yangtze River Delta Open of International classic cars"

and " International Elegance Pageant of China" ended in Shanghai Fengxian

"Shanghai Fish" Youth Art Park. All events ended successfully.

The dynamic part of this event totaled 1091 kilometers. With the joint efforts of all

drivers and managers, no safety accidents occurred. Of the 60 classic cars

participating, 58 reached the finish line, with a completion rate of 96.67%. The static

activities received a total of 178,600 people without any problems.

This event was highly praised by collectors of vintage cars from all over the world.

After the event, all participants expressed their recognition of the organization of the

event through various forms and expressed their gratitude to the work of the

organizing committee.Participants have expressed that they will participate in the

event again in the future.

This event was particularly strongly reflected by overseas participants. They spread

the event in various ways and received good results. At present, some overseas

vintage car collectors and enthusiasts have written to CVUC, hoping to understand

the situation of future activities and expressing their strong desire to participate in

future activities.

With the joint efforts of all main organizers, partners, and participating media, the

and even the whole country. Great achievements have been made in practically

implementing the national strategy of the integration of the Yangtze River Delta,
