It all struck me recently. I had purchased a binocular from Tirupati for my little son and it

brought me the idea of conservation. From one end of it, things look bigger and closer and from

the other end, things look smaller and far away. Actually nothing has changed outside the

perimeter of the binoculars to a normal person, but notions about the world have changed to a

viewing person who views the world through it. The bigness and smallness, the depth and the

    closeness notions have changed.

The world hasnt actually changed but through a medium it gives a different picture. In one

direction of the medium lies bigness and smallness and in the opposite direction lies depth and

shortness. If the directions are taken together, bigness and smallness cancel each other and

closeness and depth also cancel each other, thus, giving a picture of the world as before. In other

words, everything is finally conserved and nothing has really changed. When we are looking

through one end, we are unaware of the kind of projection of the world from the other end. This

knowledge in uni direction gives rise to a notion that is different from the other angle. Actually it is

our own unawareness of the other angle which is behind this illusion. From total angles everything

in this universe is finely conserved. Nothing has changed. What we see is only an apparent change.

Nothing actually changes but only our notions about space and time change according to our

conception, perception, nature of evaluation and judgment, thought and experience.

Our senses while acting in one direction are unaware of the other direction. In the binoculars

paradox, our senses are unable to conceive of the second direction while looking from one end. This

is due to the limitation of our own senses. If our senses were able to perceive both directions at

once, we would see only a normal world even with the binoculars. This is the difference. When our

senses go in one direction, it misses to locate the other direction and projection of the world.

Actually, this projection is only an apparent one.

And we see that everything is finally conserved. If there is a positive charge, there should be a

negative charge to conserve it. One is hidden within the other. If there is electricity, there ismagnetism to balance the force. Words conserve thoughts, ideas and images. Image is vision.

Sound conserves words. Within the world of sounds lies the world of words and with words lie

images and vision. Thus, sound conserves vision as well. In the beginning was Nada Brahma

    (Sound Universe). Everything followed it.

Space is indestructible. When we are making four walls, we are doing nothing to the space. The

available space may reduce due to our construction but we cannot destroy space as such. Upon the

same ground, any number of buildings may be constructed and demolished. Nothing happens to

the space. It retains its originality. This is the quality of space. In other words, space is conserved

eternally. Whether the universe exists or not, space is bound to exist.

Likewise, energy is also conserved. When something gets going in one direction, the other direction

becomes weak. Energy in space and time scale changes in its form and contents but the totality is abig zero. It also implies the fact that all types of energy or forces cant lie on the positive scale.

Beyond the transformation of energy, it seems that there are natural negative forces in Nature.

Everything is a question of perception. Our definitions go according to our perception. Creation

and destruction are only our notions. Both are only relative truths. So long as an event doesnt fall

within our level of awareness, nothing is created from our individual angle. For example, a seed

carries all the possibilities of a tree but we are unaware of it till a plant rises up from soil. For the

seed, it is only a natural process of becoming a tree but for us, it is a new creation born out of the

seed. So, till certain possibilities do not concretize within our level of awareness in the form of light,

sound, touch, smell or taste, we do not call it creation. That is all. As our awareness become deeper

and deeper, we can see that our notions about values, our notions about creation and destruction,

and our notions about the world also get changed. This is the truth. So, nothing carries an absolute

value within our realm of perception. It is only a relative value.

But, in the name of such relative values, in the name of such relative truths, we fight each other and

perish. This is because we often mistake these relative values for absolute values. Even the findings

of science could have a different footing, could attain a different dimension had all of us had a

different level of awareness. If we were all mentally retarded persons, what could have been our

propositions about the different aspects of this universe, about the different angles of life? Nobody

can really say. The truth is that each individual creates his own scale according to his degree of

awareness and measures all life governing systems with it. Since most of us fall within the sameperimeter of awareness, for us, these life governing systems have a common footing. Thus, we are

able to attribute a common value. Thus, we are able to look upon the world with a common

denomination. This is why the world seems to be real and behave in a particular way.

All the relative truths are finally conserved in the form of Absolute truth. All relative values finally

merge into one single value. This means that the Absolute Truth is capable of exhibiting all the

relative truths. That single value is capable of revealing all the relative values. All the planes are

available within one singularity. All the functions of Time and Space are written in the first

impulse of the universe. If our level of awareness is capable of picking up this Absolute Truth, is

capable of hitting at the singular value, is capable of arriving at that singularity, is able to pick up

the first impulse of the universe, then, our knowledge will no longer need any external aid to fulfill

our quest, to feed on our thoughts. With an increasing level of concentration, we can achieve this.

Till then, it could be an arduous labor.
