The THRIVE Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital treats a wide array of disorders of sexual development (DSD), complex urological and gender concerns for the pediatric patient. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary diagnosis, treatment and long-term management for all of our patients. Expert Team. With a leading team of pediatric physicians, surgeons, nurses and mental health professionals, our program offers world-class expertise for treatment and support. The multidisciplinary program is comprised of experts in urology, endocrinology, genetics, psychology, psychiatry and social work.

Comprehensive Approach. We know that each patient with a DSD, complex urological, and/or gender concern is unique and each family has different priorities for service. Our program extends past simple diagnosis and treatment, and strives to partner with each individual patient and his/her family to provide comprehensive care that meets their long-term physical, social and emotional needs.
