THE CHANGING OF ASSOCIATES By now, all of you have heard that on June 13th Father William will become administrator of St Louis in Camden and Immaculate Heart of Mary in Mag-nolia and that Father Ramsés will be administrator of St. Barbara in DeQueen and St. Juan Diego in Wicks. Our new associates are: Deacon Daniel Ramos who will be ordained a priest for the Diocese of Little of Rock on June 2nd and Father Rajasekhar Chittem, a missionary priest from the Diocese of Nellore, Indian. They will arrive the same week Father Will and Father Ramsés head to their new assignments. I know little of these two men and will ask them to send brief biographies in the weeks ahead. Pray for Fathers Will and Ramsés as they begin their ministries in their own parishes and for these two new associates as they begin their ministry with us. Pray for me as well, I need your prayers.
OFFICE NEWS: As most of you know by now, our wonderful office manager, Sherry McAfee will be retiring from her position as Office Manager here at St Raphael in early June. Sherry has been a faithful presence to our parish and to our office staff for 16 years. She has been the manager under three pastors and the many changes in this parish and has always dealt with changes admirably and professionally. Her love of people and desire to serve our church have made her an outstanding member of my staff. Her wisdom, patience and key understanding of the needs of our parishioners will be truly missed. Sherry, for me, is that person on staff who you go to when you need to figure out how to approach a problem in the parish. She served all of us priest well with respect and a deep understanding of our ministry. She is a true gift to St. Raphael and all of us will miss her especially me. Effective, Thursday, June 7th, Lizzette Castrellon will take over the position of Office Manager at St Raphael. Please make Lizzette feel welcome.
CONFESSIONS AND MASSES WILL BE CANCELLED from Monday, April 23rd thru Thursday, April 26th. They will be installing our new sound system on those days.

Children's Liturgy will be returning to the 10:30am Mass
for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Just before the Liturgy of the Word begins in Mass, the children are
invited to go with the weekly leaders to the room across from the confes-sional in the back of church. During this special time, the volunteer teach-
ers lead the children through prayers, songs and the Sunday readings. The children will return to their parents just before the Liturgy of the Eu-
charist. Volunteers are needed to teach the lessons each week, as well as to assist with the supervision of the children.
