The Twelve Disciples

Peter and Andrew

• Peter was a fisherman. Jesus told him: leave your fishing and come with me.

• Andrew is Peter’s brother and he was also a fisherman.

James and John

James and John were the sons of Zebedee.They were fishermen, they both followed Jesus.Jesus called them (Boanerges).Meaning sons of thunder.

Matthew

• Matthew was a tax collector.• Jesus told him: follow me , and Matthew did.

Other Disciples

• Philip , Bartholomew, Thomas, James Thaddaeus, and Simon.

• They all followed Jesus where ever he goes.

Judas

• Judas the last disciple, his name is Judas the Iscariot. He betrayed Jesus.

The verse

• Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men. Luke(5-10)
