DEATH OF SULAIMAN KYEYUNE.

The above named person was a joint tenant with his son one Abby Mugimu on Plots No. 19-23, Tucker Road, Luzira.' The son, Abby Mugimu reported to Kampala City Council that Sulaiman Kyeyune went missing in 1981 and has never been seen again and therefore the property should be registered in his names (Abby Mugimu) under the Estates of missing persons (management) Decree, Decree 20 of 1973 section 19 thereof, provides:—

“Notwithstanding the provisions of section 107 of the Evidence Act, or. any other law to the contrary, where a period of three years beginning with the date of the disappearance of the missing person elapses, the missing person shall be presumed dead”.

Sulaiman Kyeyune is therefore legally presumed dead, and since;, he was in a joint tenancy with Abby Mugimu, his share automatically passed to the surviving tenant i.e. Abby Mugimu. % ,d., ■ . ... .

In Exercise of the powers conferred upon the Commissioner for the Constituent Assembly by sub-rule (1) o^ rule 7 of the Constituent Assembly Election Rules (Third Schedule of the Statute).

1. Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th, January, 1994, are hereby declared to be nomination days for the purposeof the nomination of candidates for the election of delegates to the Constituent Assembly.

2. I he nomination of candidates shall take place, on each of those two days, between the hours often o'clock in the forenoon and four o’clock in the afternoon.

3. The nomination of all candidates from the Electoral Areas within each district, shall, on each of the twonomination days, take place at the places and in the offices, specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
