New Sunday morning Bible study

class for adults under the age of 35.

Our Bible study will focus on what it

means to be a church member. If you

are interested in attending this class,

please contact the church office so

that a study guide is provided to you

prior to the first class on November

5th. The class

will meet at

9am, Nov. 5, in

room 207.

The BENEVOLENCE/MISSIONS COMMITTEE are asking you to join forces and prepare and deliver a Thanksgiving meal to shut-ins in our church family or community, that would be without a meal during this Holiday Season. If you are aware of a need in our church family or community , please submit their name and contact information. Also watch for more information in the weeks to come on how you can help prepare a meal, assemble a meal, and help deliver the meal and pray with the recipients.

One of our ministry partnerships (KGHY – The

Gospel Hiway) is having their share-a-thon October 24,

25, 26. Please pray over this gospel-sharing

ministry and consider making a financial

contribution to the ongoing needs. If you would like to

volunteer during these special three days – please

contact Bro. Tom.

We are still collecting for the Christian Care Center Some specific items needed: spaghetti sauce, boxed

macaroni and cheese, ramen noodles, dry beans,

canned meats, jelly, flour, dish soap, laundry

detergent, shampoo, and diapers. Any other items are very welcomed and will meet tremendous needs within

our community. You may drop your items off at the

church in the box outside the office. We will be

gathering items through the end of October so please know you will see reminders in the coming week's

bulletins and newsletters.

Music Notes

ATTENTION CHOIR ‘WANT-A-BEEES’!!! Christmas is just around the corner and we have just begun rehearsing our exciting Christmas musical, Jesus, There’s Something About that Name.

This is just the reason you’ve been waiting for to join our GREAT choir. We will also be surveying new anthem arrivals this week; music you’re sure to enjoy singing. Come join us on Wednesday evening for rehearsal

beginning at 6:30…you’ll be glad you did! Also, contact Bro. Wayne if you would like to sing a solo / ensemble for this

month’s 5th Sunday Singing, Oct., 29.

The “Candy Bag” team for our Fall Fest experienced a miracle today. We laid out the candy you gave and prayed that it would fill 250 bags…AND IT DID…with just a little left. Thanks church for giving!!! The weather is going to be great Wednesday, so come to our Fall Fest – visit, eat (we’ll have popcorn, cotton candy, and nachos), play a game, have some fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone from 6:00-7:30 Wednesday night
