As part of our special emphasis on prayer, AUMC has established a

continuous prayer vigil each Sunday morning from 8:00am -12:00pm.

Poinsettias and Tree of Lights Please help us celebrate the coming of the Christ

Child by making a donation in Honor or Memory of

someone special.

Poinsettias will be placed in the Sanctuary, Chapel

and Fellowship Hall (Resonate).

Forms (two-sided) are available in the Sunday

bulletin and at the church office. The deadline is Monday,

November 27.

The “Forgotten Carols” Christmas musical starring Emmy

The season of Advent is a time of preparation and hope, looking forward to

the birth of the infant Jesus, as well as Christ’s return in glory. In this study

we will explore our hope for new beginnings, praising God as we patiently but

eagerly await the birth of Christ in our lives. Come grow in your

understanding of Advent hope, its message of salvation , and how we are

called to live “in the meantime.”

events. In a year’s time we provide over $20,000 in scholarships to both students and

adult leaders.

"Hurricane Harvey" relief efforts,

Family Connect offers students the opportunity to be hosted by AUMC

families. They get together with 5-6 college students monthly throughout

the school year. These groups are an amazing way to get to know church

families and find

mentors and friends.
