The New Year is upon us! We can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store for The Village at Rosy Mound and for you! It is our New Year’s Resolution to continue to make our community a place that you are proud to call home. Jessica is doing a fantastic job planning events and activities, but your input is the most important. As always, we are looking for your recommendations when it comes to things such as; outings, events, and activities. With the New Year comes new faces. If you see somebody that you don’t recognize, be friendly, introduce yourself. They could be a new resident, and possibly your new neighbor! We would also like to say that we appreciate your understanding as our maintenance team does their very best to keep up with the nasty weather that Mother Nature has in store for us. Make sure that you are being as prepared as possible when you are going out in the winter conditions. This includes dressing for the weather and making sure that you know what weather is being forecasted. Stay Warm!

Hope College Basketball Game! Come out and watch a fun basketball game, Hope College vs Trine College. Handicap Accessible Seating. January 29 at 7:30pm. Bus leaves at 5:30pm, please arrive 10 minutes prior to departure. Sign up is available December 30 to Jan-uary 22 at 4:00pm! First come first serve. Tickets cost $7, please sign up and pay Activities Director by January 22.

All residents are invited to a Potluck Party and are encouraged to bring down their special food and drinks! Residents are in charge of set up/

clean up, bringing their own cups for drinks, plates, and napkins, as staff will not be present. The Village will provide extra tables, seats and

We will be finishing the alarm testing on Thursday January 9, and Friday January 10! They will be testing the room devices and pull cords located on the Second and Third Floor. You will also see a representative from the alarm company and a member of our maintenance team in your apartment to check the pull cords. You do not need to be home for them to complete this. If you have any questions, please contact the office. We appreciate your help and understanding in keeping everyone safe!
