How do I register for a Safmarine Digital Certificate? To become a registered user, please follow below procedure: 1- Go to www.safmarine.com. 2- Click 'Registration' 3- Click on the 'Go' button under 'New user' 4- Click on 'Accept' 5- Enter First and Last name along with the other Registration details and click on 'Continue' 6- Re-check on the details from the Summary page and then click on 'Submit' button. 7- If you wish to receive a notification mail then please click on the small white box which says 'Check this box if you want to receive a confirmation email of this registration' and click 'Complete'.

The below guideline will show you how to get started and how to navigate Safmarine’s My Finance tool. How to Navigate My Finance Tools a. Go to www.safmarine.com b. Your screen should show “My Smart Navigation” already with your SAFID and Name as below shows

If the screen shows a picture of a ship instead just continue with the below steps: d. Select “Control Invoices” tab e. Select “Account Statement” f. You will be prompted for your certificate g. Select the one you want to use in case of multiple certificates by clicking in the name.

h. Select “OK” i. Your default screen once you enter My Finance will be the “Search Tab” Search Tab:

In this tab you can search via the below fields: Invoice No. Bill of Lading No. Customer Ref. No. Invoice due date range Open invoices, Paid Invoices, credits and disputes

List of Open Invoices Tab:

In this tab you will view all your open invoices under this customer code and register your invoice dispute: View Invoices: To view a particular invoice please select the PDF file under the column which reads “Action” You may also select several invoices by using the selection box in the left hand corner and then selecting the button “Download Selected Entries” You can download the invoices in the following formats: CSV, XML and

XML and PDF – you can also choose to save to your computer or just open the file. Register Disputes: Select the invoice by ticking the selection box for the particular invoice: Under the “Action” column select the bubble icon Fill out all the required fields for dispute registration, please be as specific as possible in your dispute in order to expedite dispute resolution (i.e. specify

which charges are incorrect, the amount they should be, which contract should Have been used etc)

Select “Send”

Credits tab: In this tab you will view all your open credits under this customer code. Please note That not all credits are valid credits, some may be payments waiting to clear the Account. Please ensure to contact your Collections Representative at USASCLFRC@safmarine.com or call 1-800-983-9633 for validation of credits in your account and discuss this further.

Paid Invoices tab: In the tab below you may search for invoices in which you have sent us payment in the past. You can search for status “Processed” and “In Process”

Dispute Cases Tab In this tab you will have visibility to all your invoice disputes, you can select to view them via “open” or “closed” status. You may also select individual disputes and see Additional details and notes.
