On Thursday 23 June, over 20 of our Year 9 students received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St Michael’s Church. This is such a special time and we congratulate each and every one who took this bold and adult step of faith, and we thank them. So, this weekend, we hold all of those newly confirmed young people in our prayers and maybe also revisit our own Confirmations, perhaps thinking about what that means and asking ourselves how we live out our faith each day. We ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with the courage we need to be confident Christians, alive with God’s love:

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us. Melt us.

Mould us. Fill us. Use us.

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us. Amen
