Russia is a very large country so the climate is different in every part of it.

In St. Petersburg we have long days in summer (we call them ‘white nights’).

In winter it snows or it rains.

In Southern Russia summer is warm or hot. The temperature is around +25°

(degrees).

Winter is warm and wet here.

In Northern Russia we have short, cool summer

and long, cold, snowy winter.

In Western Russia summer is usually warm.

Autumn can be very rainy, and the winter is not too cold.

We live in Siberia and the weather differs here.

Winter is cold, snowy, sunny and dry.The temperature can reach -30° and –40°.
