Youth Farm Internship Program - July 11 - August 18, 2018 HKFP is seeking applicants for a 6-week summer internship program for NYC high school students. The goal of the program is to acquaint local youth with urban agriculture, farming techniques, food security and social justice concerns, and career options in these realms. To be considered for the program, students must submit an application by May 28, 2018. Information and applications can be obtained by emailing [email protected].
HKFP Youth Educator – May15 - August 25, 2018 HKFP is seeking a dynamic youth educator to lead a summer youth food justice program for high school students. Through this program, we seek to connect neighborhood youth to the knowledge and skills needed to critically examine the current food system. The program will run for six weeks and engage 8-10 high school students. Sessions will take place Wednesday through Saturday for 4 hours each day. For more information, email [email protected].
