Home is one of the most neglected locales for exten-

sión work; yet For reasons to be explained, it is a most

vital área in your overall program.

There seems to be, in the course of events, a time

for each individual to be introduced into the myster ies .

At this time, a person is “led” to those people or places

that will provide him with the necessary information

or material to proceed on the Path. This we understand

is due to the law of attrac tion . T h e forcé is so strong

that there have been occasions when people have been

drawn to AMORC through circumstances that involve

traveling and visits to the m ost un likely places. T h e

stories of how many of our members first carne in touch

w ith A M O R C are filled w ith all the suspense and sur

prise of mystery fiction.

Be that as i t may , when people are read y, t h er e is an

urge, like hunger, that draws them to the places where

th eir hunger is satisíied. Converse ly, you, as a point

where the information is to b e found, wil l more and

more find yourself directed to or reached by those who

are seeking. T h is is the pattern of the law. And the

burden of the co n ta d falís upon you. It is your re

sponsibility to let it always be known, in subtle and

quiet fashion, that you have possession of unique knowl-

edge. In this way, ne igh bo r w ill teíl neighb or; friend

w ill tell frien d; and th e seeker, who really is groping

blindly, will hear and react.

not up to date, be sure to explain to people that dues

are $3.50 monthly, or 17 shillings, depending on whereyou live.

bers wh o enroll four or m ore new mem bers. T o receivecredit for new members, your membership key number

must appear at the top of a membership application

form, whether this form is separate or attached as part

Only your key number on a n a p p l i c a t i o n f o r m canbe credited to you. M em bersh ip key num bers appearing
