I feel like my seminary studies and pastoral experiences have prepared me to

handle most situations that arise in the church. Unfortunately, my arsenal is quite

limited when it comes to combating worldwide pandemics. While I cannot cure virus,

I can still be your pastor. I will pray for you, encourage you, and even challenge you

throughout this current crisis. I will push our staff to be their best in spite of grim

circumstances. Sadly, we are unlikely to gather together in the same building for

days, weeks, or possibly longer.

Currently, we are focusing our efforts to build our online community. If you are on

Facebook, then you will notice the constant updates. We want to use this as an

opportunity to keep you informed on church decisions. We also want to provide

resources that will help you through this season that will, hopefully, soon pass.

Our church mission statement begins with the words “Trust God.” This is my

recommendation to you. While we take COVID-19 seriously, we trust, like the Apostle

Paul, that “God’s grace is sufficient” in our time of need.

COVID-19 Updates

Daily updates will be available on our Facebook page. Please feel free to “like” and

“share.”

Worship will be live on Sunday at 10:45 A.M. on Facebook Live and on the radio at

92.9 FM and 1420 AM.

Prayer Meeting will be live on Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. on Facebook Live.

Any scheduled or spontaneous activities in the building of TBC are suspended.

The Thursday night community meal will not be served in normal fashion. The

church will provide sack lunches to all who come to eat.

Staff and Deacons will not be visiting in hospitals or nursing homes. We are committed to providing pastoral care, so we will conduct our visits via telephone.

Our church staff is currently conducting our day-to-day activities in the church

building. However, we are developing a plan to encourage staff to work from home.

We want to be accessible to everyone in our congregation. Please call or text us.
