Can’t make it to worship on Sunday morning?
There are several ways you can worship with us...
Dear Oakmont Church Family,
As you give generously, you make a significant impact in people’s lives among our Oakmont family and in our community and world. Your financial generosity in 2015 enables us to:
Worship God weekly, observe seasonal emphases such as Advent, celebrate marriages at weddings and remember lives well lived at funerals, dedicate parents and children, ordain persons into ministry leadership, and baptize new believers into the Christian faith.
Teach and study the truths of the Bible and integrate them into our lives during numerous studies and classes throughout the week for all ages.
Provide a specific ministry to preschool and elementary children, along with middle, high school, and college students through weekly studies, retreats, camps, and mission trips.
Touch the Greenville community through the Oakmont Community Center, which provides a twice-monthly medical clinic, Tuesday evening community meal, monthly food distribution, literacy and tutoring to students, affordable housing through Oakmont Square Apartments, English as a Second Language, a Celebrate Recovery ministry to individuals struggling with addictions, and the STEPS ministry working with women vocationally, educationally, and spiritually.
Send numerous Oakmonters on multiple mission trips in our country and internationally, and support local community organizations throughout the year.
Support our church staff as they provide a preaching and teaching, pastoral care, and leadership ministry in our church and community.
Provide the “infrastructure” of utilities, maintenance, insurance, and new equipment that makes much of our ministry together possible.
As we bring 2015 to a close, your church leadership is grateful for the many ways that you share your time, talents, and finances for God’s ministry at Oakmont. Giving is a spiritual habit, rooted in gratitude to God and expressed by Jesus’ sacrificial giving for us.
Many people find it meaningful during December to give generously to Oakmont’s ministry as an act of gratitude to God. Use this Advent season to catch up on your financial giving, or make an additional “grace gift” if you are already tithing. Please remember that all contributions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31 to be counted toward the 2015 tax year.
Thank you for all you do and mean to the Oakmont Church family. We continue to be blessed by your generous hearts, and wish you a happy Advent and Merry Christmas!

2015 Contribution Reports will be available by January 31, 2016.
All contributions to be counted for the 2015 Tax Year must be received in the Church Office by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015.
Electronic Giving Many financial institutions (banks, credit unions, etc.) offer FREE or low cost methods to pay bills and contributions. Please consider contacting your financial institution to set up one-time or recurring contributions to Oakmont for God’s tithes and your offerings. This method will, in fact, save Oakmont money by reducing our need to mail offering envelopes and service fees associated with our on-line method of giving. These savings can be used for other ministries.
You can use the Church Life app to
make contributions to Oakmont.
Download it from the Apple App Store or from Google Play.
You may also follow the link found in the Donate section of our web site to contribute online.
Response TimeDuring the time of response
you are invited to...• make a decision for Christ.• make a decision to become a
member of Oakmont.• light a candle as a symbol of your
prayers at the stations by the windows.• write a prayer request at the stations
by the windows. Our ministerial staff prays for these requests each week.
• speak or pray with one of our ministers.• during the Emerge Worship Experi-
ence, participate in communion at the stations at the front and rear of the sanctuary.
• during the Emerge Worship Experi-ence, if you consider Oakmont your church home, bring your tithes and offerings to the communion stations.
