2016 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal “Love never fails” Thank you to all who have responded to the letter from Archbishop Gregory. There is still time to respond. If you received the mailing and have not responded, please take ad-vantage of this time to do so. Your financial support for the work of our parish, our Arch-diocese and our Church throughout the world is, in fact, one way to give Him glory and express our gratitude. Lourdes’ 2016 goal is $94,300. Thanks to your generosity we received a refund of $5,753 for the 2015 Appeal.

CRS RICE BOWL CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING THEME IS “OPTION FOR THE POOR” Catholic social teaching inspires and guides how we are to live and work in the world. In this principle “Option for the Poor,” Jesus tells us to care for those who are most in need. He reminds us of our Christian duty to give a voice to those who are unheard and to help those who are most vulnera-ble. Don’t forget to pick up a Rice Bowl during this Lent season..

SAVE THE DATE for the Taste of Lourdes, April 17th after each Mass. Please Come prepared to sample some fabulous cuisines after Lent. More details are forthcoming.

LOURDES BOOK CLUB for a book discussion on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Panera , Emory Village at 7 p.m. for dinner with the discussion to begin at 7:45 p.m. Our book selection is My Brilliant Friend, by author Elena Ferrante. A modern masterpiece from one of Italy’s most acclaimed authors, My Brilliant Friend is a rich, intense, and generous-hearted story about two friends, Elena and Lila. Ferrante’s inimitable style lends itself perfectly to a meticulous por-trait of these two women that is also the story of a nation and a touching med-itation on the nature of friendship.
