What is “The Gathering Place?” The Gathering Place (not necessarily the final name) is our grand plan to provide a place where people can come and enjoy their family and friends. In addition to Andie’s Place, the coffee house itself, The Gathering Place will also include a splash pad for kids, an outdoor shaded area with pergolas, seating and beautiful shade trees. Our hope is that people will come throughout the week to spend time together. Be part of it! We will have several areas that can be dedicated in honor of someone special. Trees, pergolas, and engraved bricks will be available for dedication. This will help us fund the construction of The Gathering Place. In the next few weeks we will be releasing more specific information on opportunities for dedicating various elements of The Gathering Place. Andie loved her coffee. It was a part of her everyday routine. She especially loved Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Lattes. When she couldnt afford Starbucks she would go to McDonalds and swirl her coffee while saying its just as good (even though she knew it wasn't).

When Andies family learned that Chaparral was forming a new coffee house, they thought that helping make a place where the community could gather to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea would really be a perfect way to honor her!

About Andie Andie was a beautiful woman with jet black hair, skin as white as snow, and a smile that could light up any room. She was

actually offered Snow Whites job when she visited Disneyland. She was loving, grateful, cheerful, kind hearted, and she always looked for the good in other people. She was the type of person that never missed a meal with her family, and

always put others needs before her own. Andie was a dedicated sister and a loving daughter, who loved her family (and having coffee with them.)

    What is The Gathering Place?

The Gathering Place (not necessarily the final name) is our grand plan to provide a place where people can come and enjoy their family and friends. In addition to Andies Place, the coffee house itself, The Gathering Place will also include a splash pad for kids, an outdoor shaded area with pergolas, seating and beautiful shade trees. Our hope is that people will come throughout the week to spend time together.

Be part of it! We will have several areas that can be dedicated in honor of someone special. Trees, pergolas, and

engraved bricks will be available for dedication. This will help us fund the construction of The Gathering Place. In the

next few weeks we will be releasing more specific information on opportunities for dedicating various elements of The Gathering Place. If you are interested in learning more please contact the church office at 480-991-9879 or email us at [email protected]

  • Communion/Lords Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to His table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it before passing it along.

Oering In all of our services a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary.

Nursery We have a friendly, well-staed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the lobby. Please see an usher for directions.

Prayer: Irv Ekelund, Chris Hachey, Payson Kenyon, Jack Lawrence,

    Joyce Moore

and develop family friendships. Who do you know that has kids VBS age? Friends, family, neighbors? Invite them to our Family VBS Experience June 14-17 from 6-8 PM. They will not only have fun with their own kids, but also interact with other parents, too. Word of mouth is the best way people find out about great placesall you need to do is share why you love being part of this community!
