    Baptisms

    Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00

    PM and 2:00 PM in both churches. If you would like to

    schedule a baptism, please call the rectory. New par-

    ents are required to attend one Baptism Parents class.

    Please call the rectory to find out when the next class

    will be held and register.

    Register If you would like to register with the parish, please

    call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.

    We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-

    sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-

    mation are only issued to registered members of the

    parish.

    Wedding

    To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,

    consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-

    posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance

    at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning Classes is

    required.

    Anointing of the Sick

    Communion to the Homebound

    Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness

    occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are

    confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-

    ments can be made to bring communion to those un-

    able to attend Mass. Please contact Parish Office at #

  • St Adalbert—St Roch Parish

    Christmas Fair

    Join us for our Christmas Fair on Sat-

    urday, November 10 from 9am—6pm in the

    parish hall. We will have vendors selling

    beautiful gift items, many of which are hand

    made. We will also have food, baked goods,

    raffle baskets and 50/50. Come and get into

    the holiday spirit! We will announce the win-

    ners of our Super Raffle at the fair. Don’t for-

    get to get your ticket!

    COOKIE DONATIONS: Attention bakers! We need your help. We need cookie donations for

    our Cookie Table at the Christmas Fair. Please bring

    your donations to the rectory on Friday, November 9

    or bring them to the Parish Hall on Saturday, Nov. 10

    at 8am.

    Bus Trip: There will be a bus trip to Resorts Casino

    in Atlantic City on Sunday, November 18. $40 per

    person, $25 return. Coffee and rolls in parish hall at

    8am, bus departs St Roch parking lot at 9am. This is

    the last trip of the year, our next trip wont be until

    January. Call John and Katherine (718)698-4119.

    This will sell out fast, please don't delay in reserving.

    Food Pantry: Our Food Pantry will be open on

    Tuesday, November 13 from 5:30-7:30pm. We will

    have a special Thanksgiving Food Pantry on Nov 20

    from 5:30-7:70pm.

    Prayer Group: Join us as we prepare our hearts for

    the season of Advent on Tuesday, November 27 at

    7pm. Fr. Jean Paul Solare will be our guest speaker.

    Refreshments to follow. Everyone welcome!

    St Ann Society: Will have a meeting on Nov. 6 on

    the Parish hall.

    Bingo: We have bingo games every Friday night in

    the Parish Hall. Doors open at 5:30pm.

    Únase a nosotros para nuestra Feria de Navidad el sábado 10 de noviembre de 9 am a 6 pm

    en el salón parroquial. Tendremos vendedores que

    cuales están hechos a mano. También tendremos co-

    Además, quisiera informarles que el domingo 18 noviem-

    bre, después de las misa de las 1:00, un amigo de Cabrini

    Immigrant Services, que ademas esta afiliado con Mother

    Cabrini's Sisterhood, estará aquí para compartir informa-

    ción para inmigrantes neoyorquinos, en español. Esta pre-

    sentación es muy importante, dados los alarmantes cam-

    bios en Washington DC. La charla incluirá referencias a

    asistencia legal gratuita y confidencial, donde y con quien

    discutir asuntos legales de inmigración, incluyendo Asilo,

    Green Cards, TPS, DACA, applicaciones para la ciuda-

    danía y qué hacer si eres arrestado por ICE. La presenta-

    ción también incluirá información sobre: educación, como

    clases de inglés gratuitas; problemas de vivienda; atención

    médica gratuita y de bajo costo; obtener cupones de ali-

    mentos; y protegerse contra la discriminación. Por favor

    invita a familiares, amigos y compañeros de trabajo de

    cualquier religión a esta presentación informativa en espa-

    ñol. La charla terminara con una sesión de preguntas y
