This is the story told by an installation at the Burlington, Vermont Art Hop – weekend of September 11-13, 2015.
The South End Art attracts over 30,000 visitors to artist’s studios and local businesses that become exhibition sites for the more than 500 participating artists.
Artwork by Michelle Sayles in collaboration with Jen BergerSponsored by Vermonters for a Just Peace in Palestine/Israel www.vtjp.org
A series of 8 panels tells one woman’s story of military occupation and oppression over 8 decades.

Performance of Cantastoria about Ben & Jerry’s in Palestine for the people waiting in line for ‘free’ ice cream. (Performance by Mark Hage )
The Ben & Jerry’s ‘free’ ice cream truck located across the street from the ‘comic strip’ art installation.
Ben & Jerry’s is targeted for boycott, because ice cream made by its Israeli franchise is sold in illegal settlements in Palestine.
9-1-1EMERGENCY!
Houses demolished…Children imprisoned, shot, and killed…
Farmland and orchards poisoned, uprooted, destroyed…Schools, hospitals, ambulances targeted and bombed…
And now it’s time for the soldiers to relax…

Turn over for more information …
…and for Israeli Jewish settlers to stop off at the supermarket to pick up some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream
WHATS WRONG WITH THESE PICTURES?
Tell Ben & Jerry’s: Stop doing business in illegal, Jewish-only settlements in
Occupied Palestine!
