The Manger (Cry Room)The Manger is located at Level 3 of the Sanctuary and is strictly reserved for families with children below the age of 3 years. Children 3 to 12 years old are strongly encouraged to attend Silver Boxes*, our children’s programme at Level 1 of the Sanctuary. We also have Shiny Tots ministry* at 9.30am and at 12pm if your child is between the ages of 12 months to 30 months. If you or your child is unwell, please refrain from using The Manger as the germs can spread easily. *Sessions not avaliable on first Sunday of each month.

April is Autism Awareness Month - Light it up BLUE In support of autism awareness, the ex-terior of our Sanctuary block will be lit up in blue this month. This is part of the global Autism Awareness Month, in which key buildings around the world have also been lit up in blue.

Children’s MinistrySilver Boxes1. Thank God for the leaders who have planned and supported the harvest event and ministered to the children. Pray for the children to continue to grow in wis-dom, in stature, and in favour with God and Man.

2. Pray for the upcoming event on 13 May, to celebrate and honour the mums of our Silver Boxes children.

Sonshine Kids1. Pray for those who have accepted the Lord Jesus to continue to be God’s shin-ing light in their families and homes.

2. Pray for our 5 May Family Outreach event, for David and Cynthia as they speak to the parents about how to teach their children to make wise decisions, and for the children to shine for Jesus as they make the crafts and present the song and dance to their par-ents.

Discipleship & Nurture1. Pray for those who will be baptised and those who will be received as members this month, asking for the grace to live as integral and active members of Christ’s body. Pray for their hearts’ preparation to receive the water of baptism and inte-gration into the living Body of Christ.

2. Pray for those who are participating in the ALPHA course and their openness to the Truth of God. Pray for God to grant Hoe Meng and Margaret His grace and wisdom when they facilitate the sessions and in their conversation with the partic-ipants.

Job Scope• You will assist to ensure operational readiness and support to the church and its ministries with direct responsibility in the areas of facilities management, safety and security, and logistics support

Responsibilities:• Responsible for the day-to-day building maintenance by carrying out regular inspections and implementing an effective maintenance program• Source for, and manage facilities’ suppliers and service providers• Plan, execute and supervise building upkeep and maintenance carried out by term contractors and service providers engaged by the Church and ensure that services rendered are according to agreed standards and timelines• Ensure compliance with government regulations on workplace safety and health and building code. Respond to fire, building or security emergencies• Carry out minor facilities maintenance, and provide logistics support for church- wide meetings• Assist in preparing and monitoring the Church’s budget for facilitie management

Requirements: • Minimum Diploma in Estate Management or its equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience• A passionate and dedicated team player• Proactive self-starter with analytical and creative mind, good organizational, communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills• Knowledge of building operations and maintenance and related regulatory requirements. Prior experience in church or para-church organisation will be advantageous• Only Singaporeans and PRs may apply

2. Operations Executive (ICT)

Job Scope• You will assist to ensure the church’s operational readiness by managing the church’s IT systems which include computers, networks, internet access, telephone lines and other technology so that the church experiences as little downtime as possible

Responsibilities:• Work with management to develop and implement a successful ICT plan for the Church. This includes establishing guidelines for evaluating ICT systems to determine where and when changes or upgrades should be made; and implement ing a policy for repair, replacement or renewal of leases of computers, laptops and other office equipment• Source for, and manage the service and maintenance contracts of the Church• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with computers and networks before escalating issues with equipment suppliers and service providers. Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers to resolve issues expediently• Assist in preparing and monitoring the Church’s ICT budget
