In 2020, Australia has the privilege of hosting two ICC T20 World Cups. For the first time, the ICC Women’s and Men’s T20 World Cups will be held as standalone events in the same country and in the same year.
The T20 World Cup is the International Cricket Council’s pinnacle global event in the fastest growing format of the game and the means by which all 105 Member nations can compete to be world champions.
The 10 top women’s and 16 best men’s teams will play a total of 68 matches across both tournaments.
Fans will have the opportunity to witness heroic performances and build magical memories across generations and cultures. They can now plan for who their teams will play and where, and how they can be part of what will be a spectacular celebration.

ROAD TO THE FINALWho Plays Who
The four (4) teams competing in the Semi-Finals will be determined by the top (2) teams of each group. The team that finishes at the top of one Group plays the second-placed team of the other Group in the Semi-Finals.
Who Plays Where
WOMEN’S
The Women’s Tournament Semi-Finals will be played on Thursday 5 March 2020 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
The Final will be the last match of the Tournament and will be played between the winner of Semi-Final 1 and the winner of Semi-Final 2.
The Final will be played on Sunday 8 March 2020, International Women’s Day, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
MEN’S
The Men’s Tournament Semi-Finals will be played on Wednesday 11 November 2020 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and Thursday 12 November at the Adelaide Oval.
The Final will be the last game of the Tournament and will be played between the winner of Semi-Final 1 and the winner of Semi-Final 2.
The Final will be played on Sunday 15 November 2020 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Ticket Limits
To ensure as many people as possible have equal access to purchase tickets to all the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 matches, the following ticket limits will apply per person, per match:
a) Warm-up matches Six (6) maximum
b) First Round/ Ten (10) maximum Group Stages/ Super 12
c) Semi-Final Eight (8) maximum
d) Final Eight (8) maximum

T20 World Cup 2020 Ltd may, in consultation with ICC and Ticketek, cancel any ticket order(s) submitted in breach, or tickets allocated in excess, of these limits and restrictions.
Please note that different tickets limits apply during the various priority pre-sale periods.
Group Bookings
Group bookings may be available by calling the official ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Ticketing Contact Centre. To be eligible for a group purchase you must first register your request with the ICC T20 World Cup Ticketing Contact Centre for ICC Approval. You will be asked to complete an application form. Refer to previous page for ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Ticketing Contact Centre details or click here to complete the application form.
All group bookings are subject to the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Ticket Terms and Conditions, group tournament ticket limits, and must be pre-approved by the ICC.
Tickets must not be used commercially or incorporated into travel packages.
Ticket Distribution
Tickets for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup will be distributed/available for collection including electronic tickets, from November 2019. Tickets for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be available from July 2020.
FAMILY FRIENDLYThe ICC T20 World Cup's 2020 is a family-friendly tournament with affordable pricing and child tickets to all matches. The tournament offers a welcoming environment in which you and your family can watch your favourite matches.
Children and Infants
Affordable children's tickets pricing has been made available across both the Women's and Men's Tournaments. These prices apply to children who, at the time of the relevant match, are aged from two to sixteen (2–16) years of age inclusive.
Infants less than two (2) years of age are permitted to attend any match free of charge so long as they do not take up a dedicated seat.
If you require a seat for your infant you will be required to purchase a ticket for them for the seat they will occupy.
Alcohol-free Zone
Most matches will have designated alcohol-free seating area/s, marked clearly on venue maps, where alcohol cannot be consumed. Persons of legal drinking age, sitting in these areas will, however, have the option to consume alcohol in other designated areas of the ground.

Canberra is evolving; a young and vibrant multicultural city, Canberra reflects the story and history of Australia. A three-day festival of World Cup action will be coming to the nation’s capital from February 26-28. Located only a 10-minute drive from the city centre, Manuka Oval will host five ICC Women’s T20 World Cup group matches, with Australia to feature in a standalone fixture under lights on a Thursday night. England, Pakistan, South Africa and the West Indies will also feature in Canberra’s World Cup festival.

GEELONG
A mere 60-minute drive from Melbourne, Geelong is a gateway to the surf coast and the Great Ocean Road. Geelong’s history as a major wool-shipping port from the mid-1800s well into the 20th Century has left a legacy of beautifully restored old buildings such as the National Wool Museum and Deakin University Waterfront campus which were once the Dalgety Wool Stores. Today, Geelong is a sport-mad metropolis that welcomes annual fixtures across Australian rules football, soccer and cricket, as well as water based sports like sailing.
2014 champions Sri Lanka will open the Men’s Tournament at Kardinia Park Stadium and play three matches in Geelong as part of the First Round, including two contests under lights. They will be joined by three qualifiers to be determined in late 2019, with six First Round matches in total coming to Geelong.

The hallowed turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, will play host to the most hotly anticipated matches of the tournament when both the Men’s and Women’s World Champions will be decided. Located within walking distance of the centre of the city, the MCG is the biggest sports stadium in the southern hemisphere. Melbourne is Australia’s sporting capital and has proven itself as an outstanding Host City of quality international sporting events over many decades and is the only city in the world to host both a Formula One Grand Prix and Tennis Grand Slam. Yes, the ICC T20 World Cup Australia 2020 is a family-friendly event. With affordable children’s ticket pricing, there is no better way to experience the T20 World Cup than with your family.
What is a General Admission (GA) ticket?
General Admission is a ticket type used to describe an area such as a grass embankment where patrons are admitted to a designated area rather than given a specific seat. General Admission tickets are available in several of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 venues, including Junction Oval, Karen Rolton Oval, Allan Border Field, WACA, Manuka Oval, Bellerive Oval, Kardinia Park and Adelaide Oval.
What is a reserved seat and what do the categories mean?
All tickets are sold as reserved seats, which means each ticket is assigned a specific seat and only the ticket holder may occupy that seat. Where a venue has a General Admission area, categories will be amended accordingly, and this will be shown on the ticket prices for each venue.
The different seating categories represent the variation between seats for a particular match, for example differences such as quality of view, the standard of facilities and position, including closeness to the field of play. ‘Category A’ tickets are deemed the best available seating for that particular match and venue. Each venue and match are unique and as such not all price categories will be the same for each match or available for each match. Please ensure you carefully review seating maps before making your purchase.

Will tickets be sold on a first come, first served basis or will I have to register for a ticket ballot?
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis so it is important to plan and book early to avoid disappointment. Ticket allocations will go quickly so book early to ensure you get the tickets you want for the matches you want.
When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets will be distributed/available for collection, including electronic tickets, starting in November 2019 for the Women’s Tournament and July 2020 for the Men’s Tournament.
For anyone who selected receiving tickets by mail, delivery of these will stop 30 days prior to the start of the Tournament for regular mail and 60 days prior for International mail.
After this time you will only be able to select print at home, mobile ticketing and venue collection as delivery methods.
How can I pay for tickets?
When purchasing tickets online or via the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Ticketing Contact Centre customers will be able to purchase using either a credit or debit card.
Purchases made at a Ticketek agency or at a venue box office will also be able to purchase using cash or EFTPOS.
Can I bring food with me to the matches?
Fans are entitled to bring small quantities of food with them to matches for personal consumption. Please ensure you review all Venue Regulations for matches you are attending by visiting T20WorldCup.com closer to the tournament.
