About
I am a graduating Mechanical Engineer with a diverse set of engineering experience across a variety of industries,
including: biomedical devices, defense contracting, and design consulting. This experience has given me a strong base in the field of engineering design and has ignited a passion for additive manufacturing and bio-mechanical
interfacing.

Idea: Cell phone charger that uses the
foot tapping motion of an anxious student to create electrical energy.
The tapping motion of the foot will drive a linear gearshaft, creating mechanical energy which can then be converted via a rotational gear and an alternator into electrical energy.

Purpose: Recreate an electrical safety test
fixture which oscillates the device 90 degrees. Preferably run off of a simple motor.
Skills Demonstrated: Design based on constraints. Design for manufacture SolidWorks Documentation Manufacturing
Results: Ability to conduct the safety test
in-house rather than outsourcing. Saves company both testing and
transportation costs.
