PROCEDURE FOR PERMANENT TRANSFER
Dear Student,
The procedure for requesting a permanent transfer is.
1. Log on to the student homepage2. Click on Transfers link3. Fill up the form. If you are unable to fill the online form, visit your center. The
counselors will assist you to request the transfer.
4. You will receive a confirmation email from [email protected] If theres any discrepancy in the contents, mail back describing the errorso You will receive a clarification email
5. Report to the new center with the following documents:o Valid T.I.M.E. ID card (If you have misplaced your ID card, please get a
duplicate card from your original center).
o A print out of the centre transfer authorisation mail you received [email protected].
o Original Receipt for the amount that you have already paid(or)
A letter from the your centre confirming the amount already paid by you
The rules for permanent transfer are mentioned below. Please read this carefully as you
would not be able to change the transfer request.
1. You can seek Permanent Transfer from any T.I.M.E. centre to any other T.I.M.E.centre that offers CAT.
2. You have to pay a centre transfer fee of Rs. 1500/- (incl. ST) to the centre to whichyou are getting transferred to.
3. Your new course fee will be the higher of the fees between the two centers (ie yourexisting center and the center you are getting transferred to). Also, some of the
discounts you received at your existing center will not be applicable at your new
center. You have to pay the difference at the center you are getting transferred to.
Please contact the centers to find out their fee structure and discount policy. The
contact details of all centers are available on your homepage.
4. Once you have been transferred to a new center, if you want a transfer back to youroriginal centre, you wouldnt need to pay the centre transfer fee.
5. Once you have been transferred to a new center, if you want a transfer to yetanother centre (your original one), then the centre transfer fee and difference of feeswould both be payable.
6. Register at the new center immediately; otherwise you would not be able to writeAIMCATs at the new center. Please bear in mind that it might take about 2-3 working
days to process your request ie you will be able to register for AIMCATs after 2-3
days of paying the transfer fees.
However, you can write ONLY ONE AIMCAT before you are registered at the new
center.

7. You can write a maximum of 3 AIMCATs anywhere without paying any fees.However, the AIMCATs that you write at the transferred center do not count towards
the free AIMCATs. Ie If you DO NOT register at the new center, then the AIMCAT
will be counted towards the THREE free AIMCATs allowed; If you register at the new
center, then the AIMCAT will NOT be counted towards the THREE free AIMCATs
allowed.8. To register for an AIMCAT, follow the same procedure as you would do at your homecenter ie Log to your student home page, click on Book your slot for AIMCATs link
and book the slot. Before booking slots for Invigilated AIMCATs, know about the
locations and directions for the centers. You will not be able to change the center
after booking.

3. You will not be permitted to join the Summer Crash Course at the new centre. Youwill only be allowed to attend classes with a regular batch at the receiving centre.4. During Temporary Transfer, you will be eligible to write all AIMCATs and any All India
Mocks that are scheduled during the two month period in which you are at the
receiving centre.
5. You have to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- (incl. ST) to the centre to which you are gettingtransferred to.

6. Keeping your preferences in mind, you will be assigned a new batch. However, yourbatch might not at your desired timing. In this regard, the receiving centres decision
will be final and binding.
7. Please carry your Study Material and other booklets as these will not be given by thenew centre.

The classroom hand-outs for the classes attended will be given to you. AIMCATs andAll India Mocks would also be issued. No other material will be issued to you by the
receiving centre.
9. Register at the new center immediately; otherwise you would not be able to writeAIMCATs at the new center. Please bear in mind that it might take about 2-3 working
days to process your request ie you will be able to register for AIMCATs after 2-3
days of paying the transfer fees.
