Another campus drive was organized on 20.4.2017

in collaboration with E- Care India limited, well

known companies in Tirunelveli , like

KodaiAutomobiles,Mahindra ,Rehoboth

Automobiles, E care India ,Volkswagen etc

recruited students for the post of admin ,back

office ,data entry operator, sales, medical coding

etc,

328 students from

various institutions

participated. 48

selected for the

final selection

process.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR THE FRESHERS-BRIDGE 2016

Power point presentations were made that help the freshers to know more about and to

develop these skills.

The bridge course for the fresherswas organized by the Career Development and Placement

Cell. Placement coordinator Dr J Shakina address for the first year orientation programme on

July 2, 2016. The Coordinators, Dr J. Shakina, Ms. Jai Ruby, Mrs. Annie Cutie were the

organizing committee members of the Bridge Course. Mr.Freddy, of E-Kids spoke on

Language for Life.

ONE DAY SEMINAR ON CURRENT IT TRENDS:

Mr. Leeranden Gomez, IIHT had come to provide a gist on how to be successful in the IT

field on 25 Aug 2016. He revealed two important secrets: He explained that the first step for

getting a job is in ones resume. A resume shouldn’t exceed a page, should have educational

qualifications, technical skills, and projects, and it should have an impact on the reader.

He also explained about the globally recognized certifications in .Net. Net developers are

highly in demand receiving impressive salaries in top organizations. He also said that the

students can explore their placement portal to find the right job in placement.iiht.com. He

spoke about the importance of Big data, Hadoop, Cloud Computing,NET framework, Java,

Different courses in IT field. 72 students from various departments attended.

ONE DAY SEMINAR ON ANIMATION

Mr. Vinoth Jose Raj, Dream zone gave a seminar on 24 Aug 2016 on the topic “Interior

Design, Fashion design & Animation”. He mentioned that it was a technology on the rise and

had recently gained the spotlight. It was explained in a way, easy for the students to

understand, with common day examples. He also showed the making of cinema using

computer graphics and animation.750 students from various departments attended.

CAREER AND MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE

In view of showcasing the various facets of the Indian Air force and various job opportunities

there is explained by Squaden leader SD Raja ,Commanding officer and his team delivered a

CAREER AND MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE FOR THE STUDENTS in the new

auditorium on 02.12.2016.

MODEL TANCET EXAM

A model TANCET exam was conducted by TIME Institute, Tirunelveli. 134

students attended the test.

IDBI CAMPUS DRIVE

A campus drive for the final year students was organized on 10th March 2017. 22 students

got placed.

MEGA CAMPUS DRIVE

The placement cell successfully coordinated and completed placement process for the year

2016-2017. Student’s registration for campus placements opened in Jan, 2017. Companies

were invited for the interview process from Feb, 2017 onwards. A mega campus drive for the

final year UG and PG students was organized by the placement cell in collaboration with

Virtuous InfoTech on 8.4.2017.Various MNC’s like Accenture, Vertex, recruited the

students. 922 students from various institutions participated. A record of 580 students was

placed in a single drive in which 320 students were from our college.

CAMPUS DRIVE

Another campus drive was organized on 20.4.2017 in collaboration with E- Care India

limited. Well known companies in Tirunelveli like Kodai Automobiles, Mahindra, Rehoboth

Automobiles, E care India, Volkswagen etc recruited students for the post of admin, back

office, data entry operator, sales, medical coding etc, 328 students from various institutions

participated. 48 students got selected for the final selection process.

The placement programmes came to a end for the academic year by third week of April,

2017. The efforts of the placement office including the student placement team contributed

towards the success of the recruited process. The success of the placement endeavour can be

attributed to the outstanding quality of our students, tremendous support provided by the

college administration and Departments.
