Program usedThe program that was used in the making of the Title animation was called Blender. It is a really good program when wanting to do short animations or pictures.

Positives aspects of Blender: It is simple to learn how to make text 3D Animations results are great The program used was free Various tutorials of each feature in Blender – (Blender Guru)

Negative aspects of Blender: It’s too time consuming, e.g it took me on the Mac almost 3 days for a 10-11 Second

video to finish rendering and saving in total for my coursework. But rendering just a image takes about 15-30 minutes depending how much you have added.

Sapphire Design - Part 1

In this part of the Title design I had to customise the Gemstone in order to fit the colour scheme and the colour I wanted the Gemstone to be was royal blue since I wanted to have a Sapphire. Also during

this process I was able to make the Sapphire transparent enough to be able to see some of the text.

Sapphire Design – Part 2

During this part of the process I was able to fix the sapphire’s colour and then add a 3D effect to the writing in order to make the title animation look more realistic when

the movement starts to take place.

Sapphire Design – Part 3

In the third part of the title animation I was also able to add the glow and sparkle of the sapphire, this allowed me to be able to give a more realistic effect to the sapphire since in blender you can do this process quickly and easy without worrying to do a mistake.

Animation Process

During the animation process I was able to even render it to see how the final result was going to be, this also includes the sparkles in the background which varies in different

sizes. The animation process was simple since you only had to press in which mark you wanted the sapphire, sparkles, or title to start and end at.

Animation Finished - Render

At this point the animation is complete and the only needed part is to save the animation, after it is rendered it saves to were you want it to be saved.

Final

Final result of the Title Animation process. The sapphire is much more clearer when seen in the animation. What will be added in the trailer at the end is this title
