• A “State Government Relations Program” is a program that;– Informs members, legislators and regulators

of governmental developments and laws– Participates directly in the legislative -

regulatory political process– Educates members, legislators and

regulatory officials on the issues affecting the association

– Communicates the viewpoints of the association to legislators and regulators in the political arena

– Governs the legislative and regulatory activities of the association
