Heritage is a premium window system designed to replicate the 19th Century Flush Sash Timber Window. It can be considered for use in Conservation Areas due to its authentic appearance. This authentic design is also appealing to any homeowner who wants a top end luxury window brand.

Heritage is designed to replicate the flush sash designs found in cottage properties in our villages. It enables you to replace your window with an authentic design and in authentic colours, without losing the character, appearance and feel of the period. Crucially, you can now achieve this in a virtually maintenance free composite material.

With your Heritage window, you can specify traditional Butt Hinges to maintain original features. Modern windows often lack this character as the hinges are hidden. The authentic ironmongery is crucial to maintaining an authentic kerbside appearance.

You can personalise your Heritage windows with a choice of handles. The Monkeytail and Peardrop designs were popular designs of the period.

If your room is more contemporary you can also specify more modern finishes like Chrome, Brass or a Gorgeous Pewter Patina.

Old timber windows often had a raised moulding that ran horizontally across the transom. This bar looked distinctive and gave the window depth and character. Its function was to shed dripping water and to increase the strength. That’s why we recreated the feature with Heritage.

Heritage combines contemporary machining processes with carefully hand finished joints to craft a beautiful window, every time - craftsmanship you will find on very few, modern alternatives as they are welded.

It is essential that the handles and peg stays fitted to your cottage windows and are complementary to both the frame itself and the interior of your home. THE PRINCIPLES OF PATIO DOOR SECURITYSometimes patio doors are perceived as not being as safe as more traditional types of doors, and this may certainly be the case with some cheaper poorly designed models.

The key to patio door security is in ensuring that the construction of the patio door is sturdy and solid whilst maintaining good functionality and aesthetics, combined with a reliable locking system. That’s why we install a six point locking system in all our custom built patio doors, and further reinforce this to prevent intruders from forcing their way in.

We make all our door frames from steel-reinforced PVC-U, designed to be highly attractive yet strong and robust. The glass panes are double-glazed to a thickness of 28mm, further enhancing your patio door security and acting as a deterrent to would-be intruders. Interior sliding panels provide even greater protection.

INBUILT ‘ANTI-JACKING’ SYSTEMWhen buying patio doors it’s also important to ensure that there is a system in place to prevent the door panels from being lifted out from the outside. All of our doors contain an inbuilt ‘anti-jacking’ system which fix the door securely in place and prevent home intruders from using this method to gain entrance.
