How to deliver TM+ICX synergy: Before arrival
At the 1st week of internship
During the internship After the internship
• Ensure that intern has clear expectations towards the exchange, provide all needed documents and preparation materials for interns and make sure he/she uses spare time to get ready;
• Make survey to GTK him/her better (@XP, interests, health restrictions, etc.)
• Give education about country and JD explanation• Create on-line education platform for easier
communication, Q&A and preparation of interns• Assign a person who will meet intern, arrange pick up
Before arrival
• Spend 1st day with interns• Assign a buddy and track them;
• Show all essential places in city, LC, working place;
• Organize Welcome party, 1st introduction activity;
• Run preparation seminar about JD, working flow, session preparation, requirements, AIESEC basics, etc. ;
• Make teambuilding for interns, who are working in a team
At the 1st week of internship
• Evaluate interns satisfaction weekly & improve it• Fill QET after 2nd week• Create integration plan for interns• Run special sessions for interns – about AIESEC, soft
skills, etc• Be supportive, responsible and innovative• Teach about AIESEC and transfer our spirit• TAKE CARE AND LOVE YOUR INTERNS!
During the internship
• COMMUNICATE! Spend time with your interns!• Provide opportunities for intern to be involved in LC
activities (PBoXes, GVs, OGX, Recruitment); assign JD for interns;
• Find out if your intern can take part in members education, help intern to get faci XP;
• Organize integration activities (1 in 2 weeks min) – parties, study tours, learning circles, discussion clubs, movie watching ets
During the internship
• Evaluate internship! Fill QET!• Ask for recommendation, testimonial, letter of
reference;• Negotiate about further cooperation;• Create database of interns and update it regularly;• CONTINUE COMMUNICATION!• Send newsletters, updates, greetings.
After internship
