History…

TMO was established in 1938.

TMO is a state trading enterprise.

Its capital is 1.460 million TL and owned by the state.

It is a legal entity and it is autonomous in its operations.

The competent decision authority is the board of directors.

To prevent the falling of grain and hazelnut prices under normal levels for the sake of producers

31/08/2006,number 2006/10865 for the year 2006.

TMO was continued intervention purchases in the harvest seasons 2006/2007, 2007/2008 and 2008/2009.

With the decission of The Ministers Council number 2009/15202 hazelnut intervention purchasing mission of TMO has

ended.
