ESSAY REQUIREMENTS

your claim/thesis statement • Conclusions tie up your essay and pose a thought for the

reader to contemplate later

• Be 4-5 paragraphs in length • Contain AT LEAST one piece of textual evidence

per body paragraph WITH PAGE NUMBER • Zero pages numbers = a zero

• Analyze the textual evidence to the fullest extent • Be free of grammatical and punctuation errors
